Jetta TDi Up for sale is a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta TDI sedan with 132k one owner miles. Powered by VWs 2.0L 4 cylinder turbodiesel and 6 speed DSG automatic transmission. Delivers 31 mpg in town and 43 highway at 70 mph in line with EPA estimates. Well maintained with all VW recommended periodic maintenance, including timing belt/water pump at 113k miles, tires/alignment at 109k, and regular transmission service - all documented at VW dealer. Newer fuel injectors documented by dealer receipts. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. Good transmission maintenance records. EXTERIOR:Body: Body is in very nice shape with no notable damage. The accident on the history report damaged only the black plastic strip on the rear bumper - no other damage; have evidence. One small ding on right rear door as pictured. Above average body. Paint: Paint is in great shape - a couple very minor chips/scratches on hood and left rear quarter as pictured, and minor fade on C pillar on right rear door. Still above above average. Other: Plastic bumpers and trim in great shape. Windshield and all glass in good shape with no cracks or chips. Undercarriage is beautiful southern solid - see the pics. Underhood is nice and relatively unmolested. Aluminum wheels are in great shape - left front wheel has a minor rub as pictured. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in exceptionally nice condition. Zero complaints - dash has no cracks, carpets in great shape protected by rubber floormats, leather seating areas are in great shape, door panels are nice with no cracks or fading. Carpets are in nice shape with no major wear or stains. No smoke or pet odors. Way above average interior. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) ALL options work, including hot heat and cold A/C, tilt wheel, am/fm stereo CD 6 disc changer with Sirius (radio is 6 month old replaced at VW for $800), power windows, power locks, power seat recliners, seat heaters, keyless entry, intermittent wipers, cruise control, and rear defroster all work properly. Includes two factory keys/remote fobs. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out beautifully - smooth and tight as youd expect of maintenance. Steering is tight, alignment is good, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 50% tread remaining - matched set and alignment done at 109k miles. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. My father, who bought this car brand new in 1994, has fallen ill with heart conditions and a stroke. This was his baby, but we need money for medical expenses and on-going care - not to mention that he hasn't driven it much at all over the past decade or so - it has 67,500 original miles on it as it sits in my garage. It has lived in a South Carolina garage under a cover for all of its life. The car is Polo Green over tan leather with the 300 HP LT-1 and a proper six speed manual transmission. This is a low-option car (tape deck, manual seats). However, the A/C, power windows, cruise control all work as you'd expect. In order to freshen it up out of storage, I replaced the gasoline, cleaned the injectors, replaced the oil and filter, fuel filter, air filter, ignition wires, spark plugs, serpentine belt, and flushed the cooling system. Those last parts were done by Jamison's Corvette here in Charleston who gave it a clean bill of health - except he told me I need to "drive it more". I've driven it to work a few times and it runs clean, low, and fast. It gets complements wherever it goes, the paint is flawless for a 20 year old sports car and the color is fairly rare on any car, except some Jaguars. This is one of the last of the C4 Corvettes, and I'd challenge you to find a cleaner "driver" (that is, not cars that were put in bubbles for shows and storage). While the next generation (C5's) had better balance and sophistication, this generation is like a hair-metal power chord - the vehicular equivalent of Guns-N-Roses or pre-sellout Metallica. She is long, low, and loud. You look over a giant expanse of a hood and you snick through the gears with a purely mechanical gusto. No namby-pampy paddle shifters here. According to the magazines, it should run a 1/4 mile under 14 seconds - and I believe it. It feels just as fast as my BMW 335i, and faster than the last (2009) Mustang GT I have driven. You'll never mistake this for some fail-wheel-drive Accord, Jetta, Sonata, or Camry, though - when you turn off the traction control and 300 ft-lbs of torque breaks those fat rear tires loose, you feel it - because you are sitting right next to them. Clean, South Carolina title in hand, along with the original window sticker, bill or sale and every oil change and tire rotation it has ever had since 1994. Included in the price are four brand new meaty 315 ZR-17 BF Goodrich Comp T/A (fit the rear only) tires that he got as factory "Blems" from Michelin where he worked for 40 years. $9,995 or best legitimate cash offer - email or call/text eight four three, five sixty-six, thirty-six twenty-five.
