Normal 0 House of Mouse Racing. Please see our website for information on current and future collector vehicles for sale: http://www.houseofmouseracing.com. This beautiful low-mile, Sublime Green ’72 Dodge Challenger looks, sounds and runs great. FLY IN AND DRIVE HOME. This car has been always garaged. It received several upgrades in 2009, including a performance-built 360 engine, additional power upgrades, power disc brakes, new tires, Rallye appearance with front air dam and rear spoiler, and an upgraded sound system. The current owner/collector is selling certain vehicles from his collection as his tastes have changed. This is definitely a chance to purchase a great muscle car at a very reasonable price. Possible partial trade on a ’66 Charger. Please enjoy the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_Fa90C1NxA and see it like you’re standing in front of your new toy! Body: The body is in beautiful shape. Nice vibrant Sublime Green. Excellent depth. No swirl marks or fading. Has good depth. No dents or damage on the car. Gaps are pretty good. Doesn’t appear to ever have been in an accident. A very nice exterior. Interior: The whole interior is in excellent condition. The black bucket leather seats are nice and comfy. No rips or tears – in great shape. Everything looks new. Drivetrain: The original 318 was replaced in 2009 with a performance-built 360 with Competition cam, Hi-Pro heads, Summit Racing Street & Strip Stage 3 aluminum intake, MSD ignition, long tube headers, and Flowmaster dual exhaust with stainless steel tips. The engine runs great. Just added a new 650 Demon carburetor. Has an upgraded Mopar performance HEI ignition system. It idles nice with a lobing rumble. The engine has about 3,000 miles on it. The performance automatic 727 transmission was built in 2009 and mated to a slapstick shifter. It works flawlessly. The rearend is a 8-3/4 posi with 3:91 gears. This car has plenty of power to burn both tires without a problem. Drivetrain runs perfectly. Doesn’t really leak anything. Rims and tires are in excellent shape. Undercarriage: The floor pan and frame rails look to be original and in good shape – pretty solid. Does have frame ties. Items to note: There are a couple of small chips along the front edge of the hood. Some flaking paint around the drip rail. Passenger side mirror glass has a lot of scratches. Rear window molding driver side bottom is a little bent up. The ignition was upgraded and the tach has not worked since – there is probably a wire off. The quarters were replaced. They look very good from the outside but the viewable repair work on the inside. I have many more pics! Please message me for any other info you might want! Built as a cost-no-object project to create what might be the ultimate GTO, it takes the most famous muscle car of all and enhances every single aspect of it. More power, more brakes, more handling, and more eyeball appeal, it should be no surprise that this Goat has won every show it’s entered, been featured at SEMA, and at Barrett-Jackson as the star car for their new line of show car paints. And as a professional build, it’s totally sorted and ready to rock with a 600 horsepower dual quad big block that’s still very streetable. In short, it’s the rare tribute car that’s way more spectacular than the car it’s designed to emulate. Ostensibly, the finish is Orbit Orange, a high-impact color made famous by the ’70 GTO, but with a lot of pearl mixed in it takes on a whole new look in the sun and earned a new name: Citrus Pearl Metallic. It goes from orange to yellow depending on the light and looks like nothing else you’ve seen, yet GTO fans still instantly recognize it, which is a testament to expert paint mixing. And since it was going to be featured in the biggest aftermarket show in the universe, it wasn’t just applied over any old car, but an ultra-clean 1970 Lemans convertible that was stripped down to a bare shell and rebuilt from there. Every single surface on the car was massaged, smoothed, and sanded before a drop of paint went on and the results speak for themselves. Panel alignment is exact, the nose cone fits better than new (lots better!), and there’s not a ripple or wave anywhere on the car, even under the hood. The Judge graphics aren’t decals, they were custom painted by noted expert Jim Boitnott, then buried under a few coats of clear for a totally seamless look and feel—run your fingers over them and you can’t feel the edge. Experts will note that 1971 sport mirrors were installed along with chin and deck lid spoilers to give it a very correct look and if not for the stance, the giant rolling stock, and the Zoops tri-bar headlights, this car might pass for a concours piece. When you get close enough to see inside, you’ll note that it owes more than a passing nod to the original design, but with all the proper upgrades needed to make it a modern supercar. The Scat PROCAR Rally Series front buckets are worlds more supportive than the original Pontiac chairs, yet their stitching patterns look OEM and match the original rear bench, so it all has a very uniform look. Stock door panels, new carpets, and the original dashboard help with the factory feel, and there’s a custom center console with a Hurst shifter that now shows five gears instead of the usual four. A custom brushed aluminum instrument panel has been stuffed with Auto Meter Cobalt gauges for all the primary functions, and they’re joined by an A-pillar pod with an air/fuel gauge and ultra-trick DPIC unit that measures 0-60 times, ¼-mile times, reaction time, and real-time G-forces. Pontiac fans will recognize Jim Wagner’s name and there’s a special commemorative plaque celebrating his 85th birthday right above the black anodized controls for the Vintage Air HVAC system. A polished tilt steering column is topped by a leather-wrapped Zoops billet steering wheel that seems right at home in the resto-mod interior. Overhead there’s a brand new black power convertible top that fits beautifully and folds effortlessly into the well, where it’s hidden by a brand new OEM-style vinyl boot. The trunk is full of treats, too, with a RidePro E3 dual compressor with 5-gallon storage tank for the air suspension, plus a digital control system. There's also an enclosed battery box and a master power cut-off switch, which is handy, as well as a brand new power top motor. And for those of you versed in Pontiac history, Dave "Big Injun" Anderson placed his signature under the trunk lid. OK, OK, we're getting to the good stuff, don't worry. You've already glanced at the photos and seen the simply spectacular engine bay, which is filled with 473 cubic inches of Pontiac big block V8. It's a 1971 455 built by Gaydosh Performance in Baltimore, Maryland. A Butler Performance balanced rotating assembly is the heart, and consists of an Eagle forged crank and rods, Ross forged aluminum pistons, and a Howard roller cam with a custom grind that makes this sucker really thump. Up top there are ported and polished Pontiac 6X cast heads with oversized Ferrea valves, Crane roller rockers, and heavy-duty valve springs that were matched to the cam by Howard's. Edelbrock supplied the polished dual quad intake as well as the pair of chrome 600 CFM 4-barrel carburetors that are the highlight of the entire engine bay. There's also a substantial fuel system in place to keep the 600 horsepower big block fed, including a custom-built stainless gas tank, a huge Edelbrock 160 GPH fuel pump, and ½-inch fuel lines. Doug's Headers supplied the D-port long-tube headers and there's a custom stainless Magnaflow exhaust system with an X-pipe and 2.5-inch pipes that sound simply amazing. Obviously it was built for show, so everything under the hood was either chromed or polished, and the block itself was treated to proper Pontiac Turquoise engine enamel. Dig how neatly the plumbing and electrical systems were hidden out of sight and there's a trick remote-mount oil filter hiding in the front fender for easy access. The firewall and inner fenders were smoothed and sanded as thoroughly as the rest of the bodywork and coated with more of that glowing Citrus Pearl paint to really show off the engine. Every single visitor to the Harwood Motors showroom who has seen this engine takes one look, steps back, and says, "Wow!" It's one of the best we've ever seen, to be honest. So you've got 600 horsepower and about that much torque on tap, how do you hook it up? It starts with a bulletproof Tremec TKO600 5-speed manual transmission, which doesn't seem to mind the huge amounts of torque twisting through it. It's pinned to the flywheel by a Science Friction ceramic clutch and a hydraulic linkage, so it's smooth and the action is light. A custom driveshaft was fabricated just for this car because the stocker would have been twisted into a pretzel sooner or later, and the 12-bolt rear end is filled with 3.73 gears on an Eaton limited slip. The suspension is an Air Ride Technologies Ride Tech Level 2 setup with air shocks fore and aft, so you can adjust the car's attitude from the driver's seat using a digital controller. The front end also uses a set of Strong Arm upper and lower control arms and 2-inch drop spindles to achieve that in the weeds look. That 12-bolt out back is suspended on more Strong Arm components and a set of CoolRide air springs, and there's a giant sway bar at each end. Stainless Steel Brakes Corporation was tapped to provide the binders and there's a massive 13-inch vented, drilled, and slotted rotor at each corner with anodized calipers that sparkle through the spokes of those gorgeous Rocket Racing wheels. With charcoal gray centers, they're exactly the right choice on this vintage Goat and carry 245/45/18 front and 275/40/18 rear Falken high performance radials. Each time we think we've found the ultimate resto-mod, something like this GTO shows up and blows the curve for all the other cars. There's a huge stack of receipts that add up to a number that would buy you a pretty nice house anywhere in the country, and the professional build shows in every single aspect of the car. It has just test and tune miles, plus a few show laps at SEMA and other events, so it's still fresh, fresh, fresh and ready to collect trophies at any level. It works the way you'd expect of a car at this level, although the big engine is not for amateurs—it's seriously powerful and needs someone smart behind the wheel. If that sounds like you and you want the nastiest GTO we've ever seen, this car will not disappoint. It's even more incredible than it appears in photos, and that ain't easy to do.Features & Options 5-Speed Manual AM/FM Stereo Accent Stripes Adjustable Steering Wheel Air conditioning Alloy Wheels CD player Chrome Bumper Clock Compass/Temp. It's even more incredible than it appears in photos, and that ain't easy to do. If not for a certain split-window Corvette, a very good argument could be made that this was the most spectacular car built in 1963, and today the design is holding up beautifully, with chiseled good looks that look like nothing else on the road. And while these cars were always second-class citizens in the collector car world, the market has recently discovered how gorgeous they are to look at and how wonderful they are to drive. As a result, prices are inching up steadily and finding a good, solid, original car is getting more challenging all the time. Quite honestly, if this one doesn't sell, I’m going to keep it for myself. The cowl tag says this one was originally code H Glacier Blue, which was very light and icy, but today it's a lot closer to perhaps code F Marlin Blue with just a touch of gunmetal gray mixed in. So it's not totally authentic, but it looks spectacular in every way. Hailing from California, this super straight Riv wears the paint extremely well, with ripple-free bodywork, good gaps, and crisp character lines that make the most of Bill Mitchell's greatest effort. Finish quality is very good, certainly in line with the very reasonable price tag, and as far as we can tell, that's all original sheetmetal on the car. The doors open and close easily without a big slam and gaps are good all around. The cool creases on the roof are almost sharp enough to give you a paper cut and if you sight down the sides of the car, you'll find that someone invested a lot of time in blocking the bodywork before a drop of paint was sprayed. The chrome is probably original, and in very good condition, but there are a few light signs of age and the dime-sized plastic Riviera emblem on the nose is pretty deteriorated, but otherwise it presents quite well. Like I said, I like this one enough to make it a permanent part of my personal collection. I'm inclined to believe that most of the code 787 black cloth and vinyl interior is original and holding up rather well. The funky brocade cloth inserts are pure 1960s cool and aside from the passenger's front seat back, which is a slightly different color (a little more gray) it appears to be factory-original stuff. It shows some minor signs of use and age, but the preservation is quite impressive overall. Seat belts have been fitted and the carpets may have been replaced, but there's no question that the door panels and dash are original. And speaking of the dash, it's a beautiful combination of black camera-case textured surfaces and brushed metal, a very period look that seems upscale and elegant to us today. The two big, round dials for the driver include a speedometer (with speed alert) and warning lights for the secondary functions. You'll note that this car has factory A/C which has been recently serviced and filled with R134a refrigerant so it'll be easy to recharge should it be necessary in the future. The original AM/FM radio still lives up high in the dash and the ventilation controls are neat aircraft-type sliders under the dash hood. Demerits include a thumb-sized hole in the headliner above the passenger front window and a rather cheesy homemade shift quadrant indicator in the console that has gotten wet (it actually looks like it was made on an inkjet printer), and, of course, the clock doesn't work. On the other hand, the gauges are bright and crisp, the chrome and trim is excellent, and there are Buick floor mats keeping it protected. The trunk is upholstered in gray carpet which looks fantastic even if it's not totally correct, and there's a full-sized spare and jack assembly just in case. If you haven't experienced the power of a Nailhead V8, this is a great opportunity. Actually, I should say it's torque that you'll be experiencing, and this big luxury coupe moves like a muscle car thanks to the robust 401 cubic inch Buick V8. Not shared with any other division, this smooth powerplant is the ideal choice for the Riviera and with a few modest upgrades, it's a show piece as much as a driving force. Obviously it's dressed for show, with a chrome air cleaner, finned valve covers and matching valley cover, as well as correct corporate Turquoise paint on the block itself. You can see evidence of both clean California living as well as recent service work in the master cylinder, A/C system, and alternator, and the overall condition is quite impressive. Yes, it has been driven, but a weekend spent really scrubbing the little nooks and crannies would make this a show-worthy engine bay. It also runs superbly, starting with a surprisingly robust bark from the custom Flowmaster dual exhaust system and there are no disappointments on the road where its torque curve is as wide and flat as Death Valley. The original Turbine Drive transmission was a descendant of the Dynaflow, but when it was time for repairs, it was instead replaced with a more familiar TH350 3-speed automatic which is responsive and crisp-shifting and a lot easier for which to find parts and service. Tallish 3.23 gears in back make it a fantastic highway cruiser that feels like it could run forever without getting tired. Smooth road manners, powerful brakes with upgraded front discs, and a well-sorted suspension give this car the feel of a much more contemporary machine. The 16-inch polished American Racing wheels are a dramatic statement that works really well (I wouldn't change a thing!) and wear tall 235/60/16 front and 255/65/16 rear Goodyear radials that fill the fenders properly. Early Rivieras are not going to get more affordable and if I had to pick five cars that were going to be worth more in five years than they are today, this car would be on that list. Great colors, smart upgrades, and a killer look all add up to a first-rate hobby car at a price that just can't be beat. SeatsMap LightMetallic PaintRadial tiresRear-Wheel DriveV-Style EngineThe short version of this 1963 Buick Riviera is that it's a super-clean California car with factory A/C and some mild appearance upgrades that give it awesome presence.
