In the late-80s, the heaviest of heavy-hitters was the Mercedes-Benz S-class, with the dramatic 560 SEL longwheelbase sedan at the very top of the hierarchy. The smoothed-over styling of the W126 S-Class signaled a newfound focus on aerodynamics and fuel-efficiency. Few cars have a more commanding road presence than an S-class Mercedes. This incredibly maintained and reliable Mercedes 560SEL is powered by a 5.6L V8 and a 4-speed automatic transmission. Hard to find a nicer one than this one. This is a one family owned car. You can see the name on the title and the name on the warranty data plate in the picture with the books is the same. It went from father to son. The silver blue exterior finish is in excellent condition. The interior is impeccable throughout the inside. Wood veneer trim is in excellent condition and the chrome is beautiful. Ready to drive or show, this beauty will have jaws dropping! This is the real deal, NUMBERS MATCHING, 1963 Chevrolet Split Window Corvette, with an original 17,132 miles on the odometer. It was born on September 19, 1962 ans was the 53rd Corvette sport body coupe (documented from Chevrolet Motor Division) to roll off the production line. It was produced on the second day of production in the St. Louis assembly plant. This vehicle is 99% original, as the paint was refreshed in 2014 at the G.M. dealership. The vehicle was professionally striped down to it's rare white fiberglass and then painted. All bonding strips are intact. The carpet was replaced and the tail light lenses were replaced due to pitting (original lenses come with vehicle). The Cooling Fan Blade was also replaced with a 7 blade fan, not the original 5 blade fan, in 1964 for better cooling. Other then the mentioned items, this Vette is original. This Corvette is fully functional down to the clock and the Wonderbar AM Radio. Make no mistake about it, NUMBERS ARE MATCHING BOTH INSIDE AN OUT. This has the original carburetor with tag and it was rebuilt to OEM specs and reinstalled. What does original mean? This is a term that has different meanings to different people. MOTOR AND EXHAUST HAVE AN AWESOME TONE AND THE TIPS ARE A BEAUTIFUL COMPLIMENT. EVERY THING WAS TOUCHED AND NO EXPENSE WAS SPARED WITH THE $90k+ TUB UP PROFESSIONAL RESTORATION WITH A TOTAL COST OF APPROXIMATELY $145K INCLUDING THE CAR. SOME LUCKY INDIVIDUAL WILL END UP PICKING THIS GEM UP FOR HALF OF WHAT IT COST. THE CAR HAS APPROXIMATELY 4800 MILES SINCE THE RESTORATION. THE GAUGES WERE REPLACED AND STARTED AT 6000 MILES AND NOW SHOWS APPROXIMATELY 10,800 MILES. FULL DOCUMENTATION CAN BE VERIFIED BY PROTOTECH.
