Bill of Sale is they only paperwork for this Mercedes. Super rare 1980 Mercedes 500SL with only 82000 miles. This car runs and drives and is rock solid. The bottom is very clean and so is the body. The story is it was in storage for 9 years indoors and after a while the bill was getting too high so the person that owned the building put a storage lien on the car and then sold it once he had the abandon papers that is a form not a title. I purchased the car for parts but I am selling this one and the car I intended to swap parts to in my other auctions. I am selling it with a bill of sale. The car has an EXCELLENT set of small bumpers and european Headlights. These European headlights are vacuum controlled and they work adjusting the level at where they aim using a dial next to the headlight switch. The small bumpers have never been hit or rechromed. They have brilliant chrome. The car is complete and will not be parted out. The wheels are a rare version of Rial wheels in pretty nice shape. The tires have lots of tread and roll very nice but I am sure they are older. The car has a great motor that stays cool and runs very nice. The motor has no noises, rattles, ticks, clatters or anything. The motor has a great deal of power. I am sure it can use new spark plugs and filters. The transmission does shift through all of the gears. It is still getting use to driving after sitting for a long time so sometimes it is slow shifting but is getting better quickly. The blower motor works nice. The heat blows nice and hot and the levers are free that change the direction of the air. The dial for the compressor is tight so I am not going to twist it. Even all of the gauges work properly. The odometer is working so the miles are correct. The tachometer is working as well. The suspension feels nice on this Mercedes. The brakes work but I think a hose is a little swollen since it pulls to one side a bit when you brake quick. The exhaust is all there but there have been some fill in pipes added in the middle of the exhaust so it muffles from those. The car has no hard top. What you see is what you will get. No extra fees in my auction either. These R107 body cars are rising in value so fast so grab this one while you can. The car was listed in the parts car section and Ebay said I need to list it here. The Salvage title selected in the top section of this ad is the closest thing to bill of sale I am able to select.

No extra fees! This Mercedes runs and drives excellent! The motor purrs and has plenty of power. The motor stays cool and sounds very strong. The transmission shifts GREAT in all gears. I just put 6 new glow plugs and a fresh new 900 CCA battery in so it fires up excellent in the cold. The brakes stop the car just fine. The heating and air conditioning system works properly. The car has a rest feature that keeps the interior heated for 25 minutes after the car has been turned off using a small coolant pump and keeping the blower motor on low then auto shut off kicks in after 25 minutes. The exhaust is all there minus the tail pipe that came off at some point so there is some heat bowing to the rear bumper from hot days. This one has the power moon-roof in glass that works nice. The car gets great fuel mileage in the mid 30's. It was a non smokers car. The car has some rust spots but is a great driver. The lights, horn, wipers, locks, windows minus the rear drivers side all work. The car has power seats and power adjusting steering wheel that works nice. The cluster sometimes will not indicate speed, tachometer and fuel level but always records miles. It is a glitch that comes and goes. I have put several hundred miles on this car and found it not bothersome. The cruise control still works too. The car is a very nice and comfortable Mercedes to drive especially on the highway.

This is a really nice sharp Mercedes. These 1973 Mercedes are rising in value so fast right now. Here's your chance to get one before they are out of reach. The 560sl's are already flying up in value so much and the 1973 one of the most popular ones since it has the attractive small European style bumpers and no emissions. The older the better for a Mercedes SL also. The car is a real nice car but as most 42 year old cars it needs some TLC. It is how ever a one lady owner Mercedes that has been cared for and it shows. The car has the hard top in coco brown. This car runs and drives strong. The motor has lots of power and delivers it great. There are no ticks, pings or clattering in this motor. The Transmission shifts perfectly in all gears. The convertible top material is in very nice shape but the windows have some haze that I believe could be polished off. The wheels are 560SL wheels in chrome with excellent newer tires. The brakes are new calipers, pads, rotors and hoses on the rear and very nice brakes on the front as well. The exhaust is all there and looks very solid. The heat is nice and hot and the air conditioning even works properly. This one has the original radio with power scan which is pretty rare. All of the books, service book, radio book, metal ID tag with owners manual showing original Family owned this car since brand new. The suspension feels real nice but I believe the sub frame mounts in the front are showing their age so I have included the entire kit. The car just passed NYS inspection though. All of the lights, horn, signals, are working. The wipers work properly. The chrome bumpers are in fantastic condition in the front and back. The paint is nice and shiny with a few imperfections as seen in the pictures. The car looks sharp. The interior is all original and it is showing it's age. It is comfortable and fun to drive. Top down driving in one of these is priceless. There are some areas under the car needing some attention. The floor boards have some rot that would benefit from new floor pans welded in. It's a bit common for a 42 year old Mercedes. These are available and not bad in price. The car has nice solid fenders, doors, trunk, and inner fenders. The glass is clear and bright. No stone chips or cracks in the glass. The hard top is in pretty nice condition and looks sharp on the car with the two tone look. Make sure you check the value of the 1973 450 SL and know that this car is on a very good trend. Antique insurance is a great perk of owning an older Mercedes SL. I like Hagerty Antique Insurance. I'm sure you will enjoy this beauty. I have no extra fees in my auction so bid to win!!
