The interior is completely restored and clean as well with all new door panels, console, seat covers and carpet as well. There are no tears, rips or stains anywhere! All of the custom gauges work properly and look great as well. The undercarriage is nice as well and you will notice all tubular control arms in the front end with NEW polly bushings. It is astonishing to look at the bottom of an original car including floors, rockers, and trunk pan and see-áNO patch work. It is so incredibly nice it brings joy to peopleGÇÖs hearts and tears to their eyes! The engine bay has had so much attention to detail that it is incredible to see when you pop the hood! Douglass then ordered a number of COPO Camaros from Chevrolet around March of 1969 and Douglass worked out an agreement, The Douglass acquired COPOs were converted, tuned and then sold as Yenkos. The striping and badging were added by Douglass. On the Douglass made yenkos the bowties are on the left of the car and the 427 rear panel was not installed, this is where the Jack Douglass panel now rests. There is model cars of the 69 Yenko that are based on the Douglass! They are also very limited like the Douglas was and is to this day! This build was actually sourced from Douglass and the end result is a beautiful, timeless road machine! Everything on this car is BRAND new! Every nut and bolt! It is Douglass Yenko reminiscent from decals, badges and even Yenko style exhaust! The exterior of this car is HIGH quality and SUPER straight! The bodylines are CRISP and contours are smooth!! The 69 looks great from ANY angle! The paint that was laid down is beautiful, well and shines like a calm lake at sunrise! The stripes are spot on and look incredible as well! The trim is ALL beautiful. I can tell if it is new or just really well taken care of. The glass is all super clear as well! The bumpers and rocker panels all shine like new and show well! The headlights are clear and show no road damage such as chips or cracks. This car is above and beyond BEAUTIFUL!! The interior is SHOW quality as well! The bucket seats and rear look to have NEVER been sat on! The carpet is free of stains and looks GREAT! The headliner is TIGHT and free of stains as well. It has a 416 crank, BBC dimple rods, factory pistons, 4 bolt main and it sounds great! It uses 69 rectangle closed chamber heads with a Comp Cam with a nice mild grind. It boasts a Weind intake, Edelbrock carb and a nice mild cam. This car breaths through a set of Headman headers and a custom exhaust that sound incredible at idle with the cam! It only gets better as you get into the gas! The 427 is matted to a Muncie 4 speed transmission that shifts super clean without any issues! This car pulls great through every gear and is an incredible running and driving vehicle that turns heads everywhere it goes and puts heads against the seats every time you get into the gas! The interior of this car is super clean as well with perfect seats! These seats do not even appear to have been sat on before! They have no stress marks at all! The carpet is brand new and free of rips and stains. The headliner is nice and tight and free of stains as well. The center council looks incredible and hosts a nice addition of an oil and temp gauge! The white Hurst shift knob completes the center council very well! The door panels have been newly recovered and are free of rips. All hardware works as it should and looks great! As pictures show these gauges are super clear and easy to read! The dash mat is brand new and free of any UV damage. This RS also has an upgraded sound system with a Kenwood head unit and components. The sound quality is really nice. It also has a chrome Ididit tilt steering wheel that adds a nice amount of adjustability to comfort drivers of all sizes. This car also has power steering, power disc brakes and a 10 bolt rear-end.
