Not beat on, past 2 owners were older gentlemen, not crazy driving kids. And yes, the IMS bearing HAS been done already, upgraded to a dual row ceramic by LN Engineering. No disappointments. This Boxster is unique in that it's aggressiveness is a noticeable difference between itself and the base model but not quite as speedy as a 911 built for true afficianodos. This clear titled vehicle has been well serviced by our facility to prepare it for sale. ALL fluids have been flushed and replaced with synthetics specifically made for Porsche by BG, the leader in synthetic lubricants including brake fluid, rear differential fluid, manual transmission fluid, coolant and engine oil. All 4 tires have been replaced with staggered Continental Conti-Sport Contacts, along with a complete 4 wheel alignment. All brakes are at 90% and the dreaded IMS bearing has been replaced with the LN Engineering dual row upgrade. Very, very minor dings and chips as seen in pictures but overall, vehicle shows perfectly. Not one nick on ANY of the 4 rims and the convertible top is in good condition (as well as the plastic rear window). Detailed to a luster shine, this black beauty stands out inside and out and has a distinctive stance highlighted by the upgraded red calipers attached to big brakes and rotors. The manual transmission shifts smoothly and without issue. Everything works as it should, ac blows cold, heat blows hot and the aftermarket touchscreen stereo sounds and performs better than stock. No disappointments whatsoever. You DO have extra room in your garage, fill it with a fun Sunday car that you know you deserve. Fall in love with driving again. The 1993 version was the best looking and is still the most desirable for the current collector, the wheels/taillights, and front facia all went through mild redesigns and improvements. None, however, stand out like the addition of the Northstar 32 valve V8 under the hood! The growl of the exhaust, and the success of that engine really catapulted Cadillac into their next big run as leaders in the luxury market. Our car is dressed in the gorgeous Burgundy exterior and Ebony interior set of by a rich wood dash that makes the interior feel like a British supercar from back in the 90's. Upgraded by the owner, there is a state of the art navigation system that hooks into your bluetooth and will give you voiced turn by turn directions if you wish. The top is black canvas and in good condition, there is a series of steps to putting the top down, a mix of manual and power sequences that it quite easy after doing it once or twice. Trunk room is plenty for two sets of clubs or a weekends worth of luggage. There are a few spots on the car that show some wear: heel mark on the driver floor, ding in the hood, pinstriping is peeling in spots. Car has been driven, not a museum piece, nor should it be. SES light is currently on and needs to be diagnosed. Engine runs fine, no drivability issues. Car has had Mobil 1 oil changes for the last few years. Current owner has had the car for 3 years and is an Allante aficionado! See the white 87 in the background of picture #1 on our website for sale as well. There is an extra chrome grill, pictured, that will come with the car and is easily interchangeable if you so desire. The current owner has painted the black bottom stripe to match the body, and the newer paint doesn't have that pinkish tone that the original paint tended to get after a few years. Its a very clean and updated look. Also, the wheels from his 1993 Allante are on this car and they also add to the modernization. Are you ready for this? The soft top, black in color, has just been updated with a KEVLAR replacement! It is literally bulletproof/knife proof. Hard top is currently on, and there is a winch system that goes with the car to suspend the roof out of your way during the Summer months. Interior is in good shape, there are a few of the panels that are loose mainly in the rear compartment area. Power options abound, the seats are adjustable in 12 directions, a voice activated Magellan GPS system with phone integration has been added to the dash, and all the power options function as they should. Body is in excellent condition as is the interior. Mechanically the car is freshly retuned. Needs nothing. New Synthetic oil change with Mobil 1, new wiper blades, brakes fluid flushed, front sway bar links replaced, serpentine belt replaced, front brakes/rotors brand new, 4 new tires Nitto Motivo 17", 4 wheel alignment, reconditioned all 4 wheels. Front bra and full car cover will come with the car, both black. The car runs drives and stops as a true Porsche should. Power top is in excellent condition, glass rear window with electric defogger is clear and perfect. Flat 6cyl engine has that incredible Porsche sound, 5 speed manual has a tight clutch and is fun to throw around. This is a very inexpensive toy, or a reliable daily driver. Either way, you will have years of enjoyment from this car and find yourself looking forward to driving places! At some point in its life, it did have some paintwork done and the driver side door does seem to be a slightly different shade when looking at it from different angles in certain sunlight. The jamb on the driver side shows some scratches that are in the pictures below. Also, a brand new rear "Boxster" emblem is being installed and is as original in gunmetal black.
