2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD X-tra Cab "Work Truck" 2 wheel drive with 4,000 miles. 8 foot Line X bed, 6.0 litre V-8 gas Truck is mint and like new in every way. This truck has a rebuilt/salvage title. Here's the story: It was purchased from a salvage auction. We bought the truck with no nose or bed (as seen in the photo's) No frame damage and the radiator support was intact. All parts used to repair this truck are either new GM replacement or from a parts truck we had. This truck looks new so I won't go into detail describing the condition. The body work and paint are of the highest quality and you would never know this truck was damaged. It runs like new, everything has been checked and works properly. This is a bare bones truck with no fancy options. It has rubber floors and crank windows. Here is the low down on salvage title vehicles. Insurance companies send more vehicles than ever before to the salvage auctions because they don't want to pay to fix them and they know they will get top dollar at auction. Body shops buy them up and fix them to keep the shop busy. We use mostly genuine GM parts from parts trucks we have on hand. We then can sell them at a much lower cost. Rather than buy someone else's problem, you can buy a vehicle that has been essentially restored to like new condition. Talk to people that know trucks and are in the business. They will tell you that salvage trucks are the way to go!! If you are looking for a nice used truck in this price range look around and see what's out there. Then look at this truck and I think you will be shocked. NADA has a retail price of $27,000. This type of truck in this condition is very rare. If you are looking for a new or used work truck don't pass this up. My price is $18,000. You get a much better truck at a huge discount. If you drive it for 5 years, the residual value will be the same regardless of what the title says. I am selling this truck for the body shop/ licensed dealer that made the repairs. The body looks straight and the paint is shiny and bright and looks good overall, but it does show dings, scratches, etc. The tires are a match set with good tread. There are no cracks in the windshield, but it does show some typical road wear, rock chips, etc. It has the typical scratches/dings/dents/rock chips that you'd expect, that are consistent with age and use on a 2011 pick-up, but it still has an overall nice look. Interior The interior of this Silverado is in overall good shape. The upholstery looks good overall, but does show some wear and blems here and there. The vinyl flooring is in good shape overall. The headliner has been cleaned and has a good overall look to it. The air blows cold - we ran it for over 30 minutes while taking pictures. It doesn't appear to have been smoked in as there is no odor of such. It has the typical light scuffs, blems, etc. that you'd expect on a used vehicle, but it still has an overall good look to it, and it certainly looks to have been taken care of. Mechanics This V8 starts right up and idles fine and has good power and acceleration and drives straight down the road. It has a good solid feel to it. Brakes feel good. We’ve inspected and detailed it and it’s ready to drive wherever you need.
