The truck has a few miles and needed a few repairs so we've gone through all the service and detailed the truck so it's ready for a new home and daily use. It's a work truck, not perfect, but it does look quite presentable, interior is tidy, and it needs nothing mechanical. If you're after a good solid Duramax pickup and don't have a fortune to spend this is a really good choice with a very long ways to go yet. exterior The paint and body on this truck are pretty good overall. It's white which doesn't show a lot of wear, but generally the truck is straight. The wheels are fair, some chipping on the clearcoat, tires have pretty good tread all the way around. You should get another 20k from them. The doors all open and close easily, has new rear interior handles and tailgate handle which always break on these. The bed liner is new, bed is a little used underneath, but not thrashed. It has a new windshield. There's a small crease on the rocker just in front of the right rear wheel well. The tailgate has a slight bow but works fine. There's a few small scratches on the trim, little road wear on the rockers, etc. The photos show it well, fine for the job just not a show piece. interior The cabin is comparable to the body, it's comfy and well detailed. We removed carpet and seating for pressure wash, and dried it for almost a week before re-installing. It has new padding under the carpet and doesn't smell bad inside. There's some burn marks on the passenger seat, doesn't reek of smoke, was probably from one of the earlier owners. The truck is well equipped and as best I can tell everything works. We replaced the power master switch for the drivers side, and took care of a couple other little things. I haven't checked the CD player but radio works fine. There's no warning lights illuminated on the dash. The passenger side of the dash has some of the dye on the plastic delaminating. It won't get any worse if you don't spill something on it and let it cook in the sun. ;) mechanical This pickup fires up easy and runs nice and smooth. It sounds good, doesn't rattle or sound worn out, I've heard clacky Duramaxes and she sounds fine. I've driven it about 200 miles since purchase and it's road ready. The truck has a new water pump and gasket, front crank seal, oil, filter, fuel filter, t-case output shaft seal, we did a hub assembly and some tie-rods I believe as well. The tires were rotated and it was aligned. The 4x4 works nicely, it does fine on the highway, shifts easy and tranny fluid isn't burnt. This motor is the most reliable they built, hands down. This is your 12v Dodge or 7.3 Ford equivalent. They just keep going and going. You're welcome to fly in and drive the truck home anywhere.
