This car was on its way to Carlisle this weekend but looks like the rain commeth... So I have decided to list at a reduced price. You are getting the real deal at a steal of a price. You are looking at an over the top 1971, strike year SS Nova. I have full documentation from the three original California owner registrations to the $10 K in receipts of upgrades professional installed to the 13.1 second quarter mile time slip. I spared little expense with the car thinking I’d never (never say never) sell it. Note the new body& suspension bushings, how many cars are listed as ‘frame off restro’ yet they didn’t take the time to replace bushings. All of the body is original and rust free. Having replaced the stock 350 with a Patriot Performance 383 stroker, 450hp/450 ft.lbs. Re-built tranny (B&M shift kit & extra capacity pan) & driveshaft to handle the increased HP, a 1900 rpm stall convertor added, as were a new 3.71 posi and rear axles. Jet-Hot ceramic coated Hooker Super Competition Headers, stainless steel Magna Flow exhaust, new foam under the front seat, door locks, in other words, I paid strict attention to detail. It all sits on Torque Thrust ll’s 17 x 7 and 17 x 8, Falken tires with KYB gas shocks. I have all receipts and documentation) I am not going to get back what I have into this car but I have two in college and a third on the way so my beloved show piece must move on to its next home... ….All of the chrome and trim on this car are brand new!! The tail lights and bezels are new. The Walnut Wood steering wheel is new! Dash pad is New! The package tray is New! THE HEATER CORE IS NEW!! Hoses NEW! New GM one-wire 100 amp alternator! The grill and grill lower filler panel and headlight bezels are all new!! The weather stripping is all new! Steering column reconditioned and looks and feels brand new! In 1971 a total of 7,015 Super Sport Novas were built. A total of 15,988 Novas were built with power disc brakes. That being the case this car has a 50/50 chance of being a true Super Sport.
