Friends, I have For Sale, my 1964 Chevy Impala/ Biscayne 4 door . I am the 2nd owner of this car, I purchased the car from the original owner in 1998 . It has been garage kept since 1964. I have put very limited mileage on the car since purchasing it in 1998. It has a 283 V8 engine with a 3 speed on the column manual shift transmission. Manual Steering Factory AC , Factory AM radio. Dog Dish Hubcaps, Original Almond Fawn paint. All Chrome and emblems are in place and are in excellent condition. I have the Original Window sticker and glove box manual Interior has original seats and material , material was very old and dry so I put the tiger skin seat covers on them. I put new radial white wall tire on the car a few years ago , they have about 200 miles on them. Battery 2 yrs old. Floor pans and Trunk pans , original and in rust free condition. Original spare tire with jack assembly. There are a few rust minimal rust spots on the car ( 3 ) that are a easy fix as seen in pictures. Car runs great, drives nice, starts right up. Everything works, gas gauge floats sometimes, I was told that its probably the ground needs to be cleaned for the float connection at gas tank. Brakes are stiff but work fine , could use a good going over . Drive the car anywhere. As big as this car is it gets about 18-20 miles to the gallon. Please feel free to ask any question.

All rust was cut out and replace with sheet metal. There were no short cuts taken.- Body and paint work was completed in May 2015. As of 9/1/15- The gear shift gets stuck. I have been using the manual release button to move the gear out of park. After talking to a mechanic, this problem is common with this car but once fixed it's all good. The part needed is about $15.00 to purchase and it's a easy fix. So you can do it yourself or pay someone to fix it. Of course labor rates will up the cost more but not over $100.00. Please note I will drop the asking price a bit due to this inconvenience but otherwise, the car is in good shape. The part needed is AC Delco Wiring Harness-Part #3923, GM Part #:13583923. It's a very small issue to fix but by it being so close to the auction end, I don't have time to commit to fixing it. I don't want to pay someone for something I can do. I will leave that up to the next owner to work out. The car is still being driven until sold and the mileage stands at 97,305. The title is clear and has had two accidents with no major issues.
