Thanks for Checking out my 1986 Monte Carlo. As you can see the car is in great shape. I am the 3rd owner. My friend purchased the car from the original owner with intentions of building a cool car with his son. Father and Son project. The son lost interest so I bought the car for myself. The powertrain on the car was removed and replaced with the following. A brand new GM Crate Motor. It is a 350ci that has 400 hp.It has Holley 650 cfm carb. The motor has less than 10k on it and it has got plenty of power. Very Very Strong Motor,It also has a B&M shifter. Since had it I added a 200r4 Transmission. It was built to suit the motor and it shifts and drives perfect. It has only 2000 miles on it, I also replaced the headers when the transmission was replaced. It is very fast car. For the last few years it has been a great daily driver. The interior is original red velour with buckets in front and bench seat in the rear. The condition is very good for original. The color has faded a little but it is all intact with out any major flaws. It has a CD player am/fm stereo. It will need a headliner also or you can just refinish the original one. The paint on the car is very very nice. The sides were recently blocked sanded and repainted, They are laser straight. The hood has paint wear at the nose from closing. It is minor and never bothered me. This car starts right up hot or cold. Please remember that it is a carb. You will need to warm it up on cold daays. I just put the manual choke on for a minute or two. Last week I put a brand new set of 18" Resto Polished Aluminum Wheel with Brand New BF Goodrich Tires. They have about 25 miles on them and they look great. I truly want you to know that this is a great car.It will go for a long time and be real good to you, I always kept the oil fresh (3000 miles) Reason to sell is I have recently purchased a 70's Trans Am (My personal Dream Car) and I am going to fully restore the TA. Normal 0 Here is a 1971 Chevy Monte Carlo 2 door,the car had new paint, new exhaust system, new gas tank and sending unit, new four core radiator, new battery new front and back bumpers. Driving the car now and has new State inspection, really only needs interior (seats recovered to match) has new headliner but is not put in right, new carpet, a nice car to finish please email with any questions or would like any other photos, Frame, floors and trunk are all in good shape, there is spare parts in the trunk. Thank you More info,This is a original 350 4bbl car, I was told numbers match.12 bolt posi rear.Drives,shifts and stops fine,All the lights work, Just passed State inspection last month.There is no radio, original spot in dash for radio is not cut,it is original.Dash pad is fine.New dual exhaust with glass pack mufflers.Some extra parts in trunk...sun-visors,dome light,another rear seat,door panels and some other stuff.The odometer reads, 61,812 it only has room for 5 digits so it is miles exempt. Clear NY State ownership documents in my name to transfer ownership. This is a 44 year old, running and driving car of "driver" quality.
