1966 Chevrolet Impala 396 Numbers Matching 396ci V8 Big BlockAutomatic with working factory installed A/C212.203.5947 Close to NY.NJ.PA Newer Tires, Polished aluminum American Racing wheels. - This is an numbers matching factory 396 big block V8 with the turbo 400 transmission. This vehicle was purchased new in Roswell New Mexico at Valley Chevrolet in 1966. Original owner moved to the Midwest and owned vehicle up until the 1990's Vehicle was then sold and placed in storage until recent first repaint and restoration. This Impala is finished in its original Ermine White, PPG base coat and clear coat. Factory air conditioning was a rare option back then as it added 10% to the total cost of the car. This car has air conditioning and it blows cold. Runs and drives excellent. This is not an SS clone,a run of the mill Chevelle or a trailer queen Corvette or Camaro. This is a genuine late 60's muscle car that you can drive and show. I've personally made the 75 mile trip each way from NYC to PA and vehicle runs cool and proper. This is a great driver with very little upkeep, insurance is CHEAP and all the work has been done for you. Only 70k original miles on the vehicle, less than 5,000 since rebuild. Although the car may show some cosmetic signs of usage it does not take way from the great deal opportunity it appears that this was not driven much at all and well kept.
