For Sale Used 2009 Chevy Equinox Sport SUV, has a Salvage title. Car was expertly repaired, has a check engine light with trouble code P0008(timming chain). Chain was replaced last year(13 months ago)warranty ran out after12 months, looking to part ways!!! Car was under coated for rust protection, has keyless remote starter(dealer disabled it to check engine). new tires in the last year, brand New Battery, New Brakes and rotors and wheel bearings last year. Will not pass NEW YORK STATE INSPECT cause of the check engine light mentioned Code P0008, car is in Niagara Falls, NY 14301. Car is sold as is, no leans, title has Salvage repair(EXPERTLY repaired) car runs and drives as NEW except for check engine light. Bottum line is the timing chain was replaced less then 15K ago, dealer wants to replace again. Car may just need the computer updated, or some other easy fix NOT SURE............... Condition/History: I could not express how well of a condition this vehicle is in. Just to remind you, it is currently owned by myself and has only been. This car has been under the ownership and care of myself since I purchased it back in 2007 from the Chevrolet Dealership in Hawthorne, New Jersey. I've mainly used this car for work purposes and have decided to sell it since I am not using it as much as before. Regardless, the condition is absolutely beautiful as you can see in the photos. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS! This vehicle has never been in any accident whatsoever and there are no body issues such as dents or body/subsurface rust. The only real flaws are from general wear and tear including minor scratches and wear to areas that have been stepped on frequently such as the step support railing leading up to the front of the car. I do have recent maintenance receipts and the car is fully documented. Features: While this car isn't necessarily a luxury vehicle, it comes with the standard features of most SUVs.
