2008 Corvette 3LT Z51 6MT convertible seeks arrangement.Complete photo set: http://s843.photobucket.com/user/jwbeard1986/2008%20Corvette/story37k miles and clean California title with no accidents. 50-state smog legal. Victory Red over black leather. Includes 3LT package (nav, Bose sound, heated seats, power top), Z51 package (better gear ratios, more aggressive suspension), and OEM chrome wheels. Includes two keys, all manuals, and service record binder. Garage-kept its whole life. This is a real find, and a car meant for a very particular buyer. Not content with the base levels of performance and involvement, the original owner specified the six-speed Tremec TR6060 manual transmission as well as the factory Z51 handling package. However, he (or she) had an unfortunate aneurysm and slipped the mouse cursor, also selecting the convertible option. This car was born for California weather and roads, so I brought it home in March 2014.How American is this car? Its maiden voyage (with me, but it's unseemly to talk about past lovers) was a thousand mile one-way journey along Route 66 from Albuquerque to San Jose. It never missed a beat or complained, just like the fine American labor force. We stopped for apple pie (McDonald's finest) along the way. Oh, and the driver profile is named "MURRICA." Please keep it that way.All good things must come to an end (except for The Simpsons, apparently) and it is time for me to help this unique vehicle find her next home. I tend to keep my weekend cars for about a year, and this one's time is just about up. Oh yeah, and my wife is pregnant with our first child. That too.As it sits, the car has a few tasteful extras:2012+ OEM steering wheel w/red stitchingBlack w/red stitching DSVettes parts: armrest, shift boot, e-brake, e-brake bootCorsa Sport axleback exhaustLloyd's mats w/stitched logoHomelink remote module, not yet installed (2008 and later came with a Lear unit that is simply awful, with poor range and compatibility. Earlier models had a Homelink module that was MUCH better.)If you don't like the above, I suggest keeping your incorrect opinion to yourself. Kidding! I kept all the original parts and would be happy to return it to stock for the sale. If the mods are right up your alley, they can be negotiated with the sale. Now since everyone loves a good history lesson in the middle of storytime, here's a timeline of my year with this car (all numbers in freedom-meters):34,971: PPI performed, oil change performed, and car purchased.36,000: Corsa Sport axleback exhaust and DSVettes leather parts installed37,236: Full major 4yr service performed (trans/diff/coolant)37,236: End links replaced with GM OEM parts (new design, stops squeaking)37,317: All four tires replaced with new Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position non-runflats in OEM size. This was a must-do and totally transformed the ride, turn-in, and grip.37,466: Oil changed, wiring harness recall was performed as a preventative measure37,624: Today's mileageYou can see it needs absolutely nothing for the next four years besides annual oil changes (and tires if you have a heavy right foot.) The brake pads are over 50% away from the wear indicator and all other services/consumables have been done within the last 500 miles. Roof and seats are in great shape, as you can see from the pictures.I am the third owner. I keep meticulous records for all my cars, and this one is no different. Included in the sale (and available for review for serious buyers) is a binder with complete service records for the services I performed as well as the service types and dates for the previous owners. It's my hope that this binder will continue to follow the car to assure its provenance for years to come.Pre-purchase inspections at the buyer's expense are encouraged, and I will take the car to a shop of your choice within a reasonable distance from San Jose. Test drives are also allowed with a US driver's license and proof of funds. I only accept bank/cashier's checks or a briefcase full of cash, in which case I will not ask any questions for my own well-being.$35,000 OBONot looking for consignment, trades, rent-to-own, joint custody, etc. Please contact me via:Text: 650-200-3745Email: reply via eBay message for email addressThank you!
