This 1962 Impala SS Hardtop 2 Door Coupe was built at Chevy's Los Angeles, California manufacturing plant. It was sold at Val Strough Chevrolet in Oakland, California. The first owner lived in Rodeo, California and I am the second owner. The car has not left the Bay Area in 53 years. It has 300 miles since a motor, tranny, rear end and body-off 10 year restoration. It has a numbers matching 327 4 speed positraction. I restored it in the original stock colors with a white exterior and the rare fawn interior upholstery with front bucket seats. I added: Vintaged Air AC, 18 inch Intro Wheels, 4 wheel Baer Brakes, Air Ride Technology Suspension, and Hotchkis Sway Bars.
