It combines big block power, a killer suspension set up, and awesome looks to create a truly modernized vintage ride.  The engine is completely rebuilt 454 with 30 over pistons, a Comp full roller cam with .547 lift. The motor has Comp Cams aluminum roller rockers, a Comp Cam timing chain and the entire motor uses ARP bolts throughout. The heads are Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads and the intake is an Edelbrock Performer RPM air gap dual quad setup. On top of the intake are two 600 carbs and throttle response is snappy! Running the front accessories is a Billet Specialties serpentine system, and dressing up the compartment are a set of Billet Specialties valve covers and a Billet Specialties air cleaner. Keeping the engine nice and cool is a 3 core aluminum radiator with dual thermostatically controlled electric fans. The engine exhales through a meaty set of 2" Hooker long tube headers and a 3" Magnaflow dual exhaust system that has been powder coated in high temp black and sounds oh so sweet! The transmission is a T-10 4-Speed and the rear end is a 12-bolt housing with Detroit True-Trac differential, Richmond 3:73 gears and hardened axles. The wheels are Riddler 18x8 in the front and 20x10 in the rear and the tires are Toyo Proxes 235/40ZR18 in the front and 295/30ZR20 in the rear.  During the restoration, the chassis of the car was media blasted and powdercoated with high gloss black finish. Upon rebuilding the suspension, the restorer used all new body bushings and bolts through out. The car now utilizes a air ride system with VIAIR Dual compressors, a 5 gallon tank and Ride Rite airbags on all 4 corners. The compressors are quick to charge the tank and never leave you waiting on slow pumps. The setup uses red tubular control arms on all four corners that have been powder coated in high gloss red. Keeping the car level through the turns is a set of 1" sway bars, and providing quick and responsive steering is a completely rebuilt steering system with a Quick ratio box. Bringing the car to a controlled and speedy stop is 4-wheel disc brake kit with a brand new master cylinder and power booster.  The body of the Chevelle was stripped down to bare metal at the start of the restoration and is as straight as can be. The car has excellent body gaps throughout and they just nailed the fit and finish. The two stage black paint has been color sanded to a mirror finish and all of the trim and chrome is new from front to rear. Also new is all of the glass as well as every single piece of rubber trim. The same level of detail continues into the stunning engine compartment and the immaculate undercarriage. This car has only test miles since a complete restoration and the photos don't do the level of detail justice.  The interior is immaculate from top to bottom and has been rebuilt with all new parts. Prior to installation, sound deadening material was applied before the carpet padding. The entire wiring harness is new from throughout the car and has been expertly run. The entire SS gauge set up is brand new and all of the gauges function as they should. The door panels, dash pad and package tray are new as well. The seats have been custom upholstered in black leather with killer looking red stitching and feel as good as they look. Providing the tunes is a Custom AutoSounds head unit with an MP3 hookup, a 3x7 in the dash 6x9 in the package tray and a 10" subwoofer concealed in the trunk. The trunk itself it fully finished which hides the subwoofer and air ride equipment.  There are ok cars, good cars and over-the-top cars. Don't miss out on the amazing finish and quality this car has to offer and stop by for a visit soon. The pictures simply don't do it justice. The attention to detail, fit and finish and numerous high end touches are only seen at higher end national shows. The car was built as a product display vehicle for Arc Audio for the SEMA show and only has 160 miles since completion. It is clean as a whistle from top to bottom and you could have a fine dining experience off the undercarriage.  The car was built in California using a solid West Coast car and was stripped down to bare metal prior to the restoration. The body work on the car is impeccable and no matter where you look. The bottoms of the doors, every little jam that is often lightly passed over is highly finished on this vehicle. Every surface that has paint was expertly sanded and buffed. The firewall of the Chevelle has been smoothed and has a mirror shine. The frame was completely deburred, smoothed out and then powdercoated to a high gloss finish. The bottom of the car was body worked to slick everything thing out, received a light coat of bedliner and then was matched to the body color. Every suspension component on the vehicle was either painted or powder coated before reassembly and the car simply sparkles underneath.  The interior is completely custom from front to rear. Prior to installation of any interior components, it received Dynamat from top to bottom. The custom made dash houses a Koval insert which houses a set of Auto Meter Carbon Fiber gauges. The steering column is a chrome tilt unit which holds a Billet Specialties steering wheel wrapped in corresponding interior material. The door panels are done in ABS plastic and feature custom speaker pods. They were then custom wrapped to finish the look. The front seats are custom Glide units and are comfortable for the long haul. The rear seat is custom made as well, as are the rear panels that house additional custom speaker housings. The audio system consists of a Kenwood double DIN, Equalizer, Dyn Audio and KAR speakers, 2 Robert Zeff amps, 2 Arc subs and video monitors in the seat backs. The trunk is fully finished, and house dual amps, a tool kit and two Optima batteries. Underneath the trunk are dual charging posts and a remote shut off switch.  The motor is a 355 built by Motor Machine of Carmichael. It makes over 400 HP with a mild cam and has been balanced and blueprinted. Cooling the motor in an aluminum radiator with electric fans, and Zoops pulleys and brackets run the components. The intake is a Edelbrock with a 1406 carburetor and the motor exhausts through a set of Sanderson coated headers and a custom ceramic coated exhaust. The transmission is a turbo 350 with a 2200 stall converter and a modified shift kit. The rear end is a 12-bolt with 3.55 gears. Keeping the passengers extra cool is a Vintage AC unit with controls located just above the radio. The lines for the AC are beautifully run and enter through a bulkhead in the firewall.  The car drives as smooth as silk running on a suspension that has been completely rebuilt from front to rear. 4-wheel power disc brakes bring the car to a halt and modern tires and Bon Speed rims provide an updated ride. Turn the key and the motor falls into a smooth idle and the motor produces a nicely tuned exhaust note. The Chevelle rides as smooth as any modern car and the interior is as comfortable as you will find anywhere. For the custom car enthusiast, this car will win at big shows and blow the competition away at local shows.
