This 2004 Blazer was totaled out by the previous owners Insurance Company because of damage to driver side and can all be seen in pictures. This Blazer however does not shift into 3rd. gear and I was not aware until I did a short road test (real short) so you will be buying it as I did with damage on driver side and not shifting so trailering or transporter will be the way to get home. The engine starts fine and sounds excellent as most all of the 4.3L V6's do. Tranny fluid is full and clean. The overall SUV is in good condition with a good windshield and no major rust or hail dings as the pictures will show and miles are about 10,500 per year. The interior is also in great shape with cold air and all power options working as they should. No odor from smoke or pets and looks to have had a good home and garaged. 1986 Chevy M1009, CUCV. I drove this truck for the last year and now I'm switching over to my pick-up for work and won't be using this much anymore. It's plated until the end of September and very reliable. If you're not familiar with CUCV's, then check them out, this is almost completely stock. It has the mount for a plow still attached to the front end(blade, pump, and controller were removed and sold), but it never got in my way. If you were going 4 wheeling then you would want to remove it, but for now the plow remains an option. The 4wd drive works great, has locking hubs, I only used it to get over ice, never off road. Cold starts take longer, but it always starts. I've read these are decommissioned around 40k, 60k, or 80k. This has 68k on the odometer, and if the odometer had turned over I think it would be in far worse shape. It was a Missouri National Guard Vehicle, and before the previous owner it was supposedly a surveillance vehicle for a police department in Southern Illinois. The previous owner told me he plowed his 1/4 mile stretch of road on his farm a few times a year, and that's all he used it for, no salt. I drive it at least three time a week for varying distances. Suggested top speed is only 55, but it easily goes 65-70 and I never felt like I was pushing it hard at those speeds, and with bigger tires and some other adjustments these vehicles can get great miles per gallon and higher top speeds. I did the last three oil changes, next one due soon. Never driven under a quarter of a tank of diesel, and always driven with care. Could make a great, turn-key, first truck, or it could be built up to anything. Add a turbo, swap a cummins, lift it, add a PTO, connect the slave receptacle to a battery bank, add a snorkel, get the military trailer and create the ultimate camping, hunting, bug out, and off-grid vehicle. Go anywhere for long periods of time. -Naturally aspirated 6.2L. Detroit Diesel -3 speed, TH400 Automatic Transmission -3.08 gears, front and back, locker in rear -Dual exhaust, in good shape -Tires have very little wear, appear practically new but are a little over a year old, full size spare -Red Vinyl seats have no tears or blemishes, and appear in very good condition -Green, all metal interior -Top could be removed if the radio mount was removed (just a few bolts) -Black out light switch panel functions, but not sure if black out lights work -Clean Missouri title -Driver side and rear window are not functioning correctly but are present and undamaged -All glass in good condition -24 Volt starting and charging system (hybrid with 12 volt system for other interior functions) -Original pintle hitch, works great -2 D-shackles in rear -3/4 ton suspension - Plow mount in front.
