1967 Chevelle SS This is a true "138" 1967 Chevelle SS. It has a zz454 motor with throttle body fuel injection and a 5-speed Tremec transmission with a 12 bolt posi rear end. It has lots of power and will cruise down the highway at 70mph running only 2200 rpms. It has vintage air conditioning that blows cold. A high end stereo with amps. It has been meticulously cared for to be sure everything works correctly including all guages, lights, etc. Included with the car are all receipts of work done totaling more than 100k. 1968 CHEVELLE SS This is an extremely nice 1968 Chevelle true SS car. The engine is a 396 (Casting #3935440 dated Feb, 1968). I am not able to tell if it is the original engine or not because someone has scratched the deck pad making it impossible to read. All I can make out is "8B" in the vin portion of the stamp and what appears to be either a C or G as the last letter in the suffix code. Since this is a 68 block and there is no suffix code that ends in a "C" for 1968, it would most conceivably be a "G". With that said, the only 396 suffix code that ends in "G" is an "EG" code which would make this a 375hp engine. I can not state with certainty that this is the case but I am including photos of what can be seen on the deck pad so you can draw your own conclusion. The car has a Muncie M20 4-speed transmission and 3.07:1 Rear. The paint and body are excellent, lazer straight. All guages, lights, etc work correctly. The car has a slight cam and sounds excellent. The car appears to have been well cared for throughout its life. A perfect driver that will definitely win at local car shows.
