Up for sale is my 2003 Chevrolet S10. It has the 2.2 4 cylinder motor with an automatic transmission. Right now it has 153k miles and that will go up because it is my daily driver. The truck has AC(needs charged),tilt wheel,cruise,no rust,tinted windows,Rhino lined bed. The truck runs good and drives good and other than changing the power steering pump I've had no problems with it. The body has no rust, it does have some dents on the driver side bed on the rear as seen in the pictures. It has the usual scratches and hood chips. The tires are almost new and was put on the wheels and balanced on 12/30. The interior is in good shape except for the rip in the driver side seat. The head liner,dash,door panels,carpet are all in good condition. All the gauges/lights/signals and radio/cd player works 100%. The oil was just changed and I put a fuel filter on it because I have noticed that sometimes it will crank over 8-9 times before starting. I've read it could be the fuel filter,fuel injectors and even fuel pump. I'm gonna start using injector cleaner to see if that helps. I've also noticed pinging at start up in the mornings,quits when it gets warm. I started using higher octane gas to see if it would help. Cold AC,all the gauges work as they should. Nice sound system with XM radio(need to subscribe),CD player works and sounds great. The car has Onstar but I do not have service on it. I have 2 sets of keys with the original window sticker. The interior is in good shape,the headliner,carpet,door panels,dash etc. are all in good condition with no problems,there is a couple cigarette burns in the rear seat,the front seats show very little wear. The silver dash kit was put on at the dealer. The paint is ok-it looks great from 20' away but the closer you get the more you see the scratches and small spots. It also has little rust starting on the drivers side front fender bottom. Small ding on the rear bumper. 4 Goodyear tires with plenty of tread. Good inspection sticker.I drive this car 200+ miles a week.. The car is not perfect and has some issues: Overdrive is not working. I took it to a transmission shop and was told it was probably the spline gear. A trans shop could fix it or you could put another tranny in it///////Sometimes the check engine light comes on,it is showing a P0420 code-oxygen sensor or catalytic converter-I think oxygen sensor and will try to check it this week///////There was a vibration at about 60-70 mph, I thought it is the wheel bearings and put a new set on but now I changed tires around and think the tires are out of balance or one has broken belts-I will have all 4 balanced. I am only selling this car basically because I don't want to spend any more money on it. I will consider any offers but keep in mind that Ebay will charge me $125 to sell it. 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 6.6L Duramax turbo diesel. 5 speed Allison, Automatic transmission, with tow mode. RWD 4-door Crew Cab. 8' foot bed, long wheel base. 6 passenger. Runs and drives great, it's been well maintained. Could use some body work, like most Silverados, but overall pretty solid. It has wheels from a newer truck, with tires that will need replaced soon. I have another set of good tires that I will include. Within the last year, it has had brakes, tie-rods, filters; so it should be ready to go. The injectors were all replaced, about 30k miles ago. I lowered it about 2", to make it easier to get in and out and load the bed. I also have a gooseneck hitch that I will include, but there isn't a hole in the bed for it yet. It's a great truck and I would take it anywhere. I have it listed for sale locally as well, so I reserve the right to end the auction early, although I try not to do that. NOTE: the Monte Carlo emblems on the sides and trunk have been painted white,I'll put new pics up if possible. 4 newer Goodyear tires with plenty of tread. Good inspection sticker. Issues: (1)Overdrive is not working. I took it to a transmission shop and was told it could be solenoids or the spline gear. The spline gear would be $500-$700 the solenoids would be around $200 or so. They seemed to think it was the spline but said it was unusual for an 03 to have that problem because they was made better.They also said it's not gonna hurt anything but gas mileage driving it and I drive it everyday. (2)The ABS light comes on sometimes-I took it to Autozone and had it scanned and it showed nothing so I have no idea whats going on,the front hubs/wheel bearings with ABS sensors has been replaced along with 1 of the sensor wires.The next thing I would change is the rear hubs(sensors are built in). (3)Sometimes the check engine light comes on,it is showing a P0420 code. I think the gasket between the catalytic converter and manifold needs replaced because I think it is leaking a bit and throwing off the oxygen sensor reading and setting the code-could be wrong. Out of the 3 issues #1 is the one I would fix and will fix if I don't sell the car. I am only selling because I need a truck so feel free to make an offer but don't insult me-$2000 will not buy the car. I will respond to every offer.
