Up for auction is one of the finest examples of a survivor type 427 COPO camaro. I am listing this for the owner who is a friend of mine . The car is currently on the east coast but is getting shipped out to the west coast in the next month or so .  The owner history from new is known.  From famed Hi peformance dealer Malcolm Konner in Paramus NJ. This is an original 20K mile car with original components throughout. It has had one repaint approximately 30 years ago in laquer. The engine compartment and undercarriage have not been restored. The drivetrain is documented and certifed original. The features are endless,including.THIS IS A SERIOUS CAR FOR A SERIOUS ENTHUSIAST OR COLLECTOR. There are plenty of clones, hacked up cars, and pieced together 427 cars for the same asking price as this one. There are also plenty of fluffed up "prefect" restored copo cars that left half thier original parts and body panels  on the race track. There are no skeletons in the closet on this one,no before pics showing a tubbed body and part of a firewall. Any collector who appreciates originality  would be proud to own this car.   You probably wont find a more genuine car on the market at any price. Malcolm Konner ,being a hi volume dealer in hipo cars,ordered 10 cars in this batch. 5 of the 10 are known cars, several being documented. This car has a body number sandwiched by 2 other known COPO 427 cars,all from Malcolm Konner . 7]Overall,taking in the combinations of condition,originality,mileage,options, the fact it hasnt had  resprayed or restored engine compartments or undercarriages, this car rates as one of the best available,PERIOD . A correct resonator and chrome tip exhaust system from gardner exhaust  was used after removing the original crimped exhaust from this car that was not in great shape.
