Nicest Camaro SS Convertible around. Everybody looks when this goes by. Adult owned and tastefully done. Inferno Orange with black top and custom black carbon racing stripes. Orange and black leather interior. Custom rims and tires. Car also comes with the stock rims and tires if you want them. 6 speed manual transmission plus all of the options including HUD heads up display on the windshield. Only other mods are the K&N air filter and the cat back exhaust which has the perfect sound for those top down days. This car looks excellent, drives excellent, and even smells new when you first get in. Only selling because I am doing a renovation project on my house and will not have a garage to store it in over the Winter. The car is located in the New York suburbs just North of NYC. ********New 383 Stroker Motor and Performance Rebuilt TH350 Transmission.********** Up for sale is a 1981 Z28 Camaro, factory Z28, tilt wheel steering, power locks, power windows, T-tops, factory a/c but a/c was removed and a/c delete box was installed to clean up engine bay. Factory Z28 wheels with decent life left on the tires. The car has been repainted several years ago but the paint is showing its age, looks great from 20ft but up close there are imperfections which are included in the pictures. There is one minor dent on the passenger side door that is visible in one of the pictures. Inner fenders have been replaced and there are two small rust holes on the rocker panel area, one each side of the car as pictured. Frame is solid and rust free, floor pans are solid with no holes or rust, including the truck pan. The car has been garage kept and well maintained for the 7 years that I have owned it, and never driven in the snow or on salty roads. The wipers, lights, horn, defog, heat, power locks and windows all work. The power locks and windows are a bit sluggish however and have been that way since I have owned the car. The T-tops do leak some water as the weather stripping is dry and cracked, but I don't drive the car in the rain so I never bothered to replace it. The interior is in decent shape, with all gauges working and no tears in the seats. Some scratches near the rear seats. All in all, good reliable car that needs nothing to be a great driver, but don't expect a show winner. I don't hesitate to take it on long trips and daily drive it in the summer spring and fall. Love the car, but need something I can drive in the winter. Car has a lot of work done to it with details below. Receipts and service records are available. LOTS of power, about 450hp, car is a blast to drive! The choke plate is not connected but I do have all of the hardware for it. Trans:Completely rebuilt TH350 using a transgo shift improver kit for increased line pressure and other reliability mods. The Transgo kits are the best available for the Th350. Finned aluminum pan with drain plug. All new borg warner clutches and band. B&M 2000rpm torque master converter. Shifts firm but not hard. About 5000 miles on the trans.
