********New 383 Stroker Motor and Performance Rebuilt TH350 Transmission.********** Up for sale is a 1981 Z28 Camaro, factory Z28, tilt wheel steering, power locks, power windows, T-tops, factory a/c but a/c was removed and a/c delete box was installed to clean up engine bay. Factory Z28 wheels with decent life left on the tires. The car has been repainted several years ago but the paint is showing its age, looks great from 20ft but up close there are imperfections which are included in the pictures. There is one minor dent on the passenger side door that is visible in one of the pictures. Inner fenders have been replaced and there are two small rust holes on the rocker panel area, one each side of the car as pictured. Frame is solid and rust free, floor pans are solid with no holes or rust, including the truck pan. The car has been garage kept and well maintained for the 7 years that I have owned it, and never driven in the snow or on salty roads. The wipers, lights, horn, defog, heat, power locks and windows all work. The power locks and windows are a bit sluggish however and have been that way since I have owned the car. The T-tops do leak some water as the weather stripping is dry and cracked, but I don't drive the car in the rain so I never bothered to replace it. The interior is in decent shape, with all gauges working and no tears in the seats. Some scratches near the rear seats. All in all, good reliable car that needs nothing to be a great driver, but don't expect a show winner. I don't hesitate to take it on long trips and daily drive it in the summer spring and fall. Love the car, but need something I can drive in the winter. Car has a lot of work done to it with details below. Receipts and service records are available. She's is a good running truck and has many years of life in her, the 7.3 is the best engine ford has put out. The dump bed needs to be resheeted and I have the metal to do job. Should cost around $300 to have it welded in or if your able to do it then perfect. The plow works great but the blade needs a new western plow insert. $50.00. The dump pump was replaced last year and works great. Trans is good, guy I bought it from said he did it at around 100,000 miles, truck has 130,000. I have no paper work to prove but she shifts good, seems to have a shift kit in it. Tires perfect. I have two sets of sides for the truck, the high ones in the pics for leaves and the low set for dirt, mulch or what ever your hauling. Does not have trailer hitch, she has never towed a day in her life, previous owner had since new. Had salter controls in it if you wish to use a salt or sander. Exhaust is off a hanger I believe and might needs a manfold, I am not a mechanic so I'm not a 100% on the manifold. Over all she is 20 years old but still can make someone good money.
