The donor vehicle was a rust free truck with all original sheet metal throughout! The body has excellent lines and gaps and is ready to drive to all your favorite shows and cruise-ins. The engine is the matching numbers 350 4-barrel and purrs like a kitten out through the brand new dual exhaust system. The transmission shifts smoothly and the 12-bolt, Posi 3.08 rear end gets excellent traction off the line. The body of the truck was stripped down to bare metal during the restoration and has new Spies Hecker, 2-stage paint. The frame was blasted down to bare metal as well in has been finished in proper GM satin black. The engine compartment features the correct satin black inner fenders and body color fire wall. The interior of the truck has new soft coverings and new paint throughout. All of the gauges are rebuilt and working properly as is the AM radio. The truck also has the correct factory GM seat belts, and factory and fully operational climate controls. All suspension, steering and brake components on the truck have been completely rebuilt and highly detailed. The truck uses 2" drop springs on the front and rear to give it a lower and more aggressive stance while maintaining stock driving characteristics. 1972 C-10 Custom Deluxe Pickup that was redone approximately 4 years ago. It has a 350 motor with automatic. This is an extremely nice driver that could be drove anywhere. It is two wheel drive with a long wheel base. This truck rides and drives very well. We even drive it on the interstate. The truck is very straight and we always get lots of compliments on how sharp the truck is. The truck bed's interior does have dings and scratches, due to being used as a truck. However, the truck has won several trophies the last few years at car shows. We just won second place in a car show this weekend. There are a couple of very small bubbles in the white paint behind the back wheels on each side. You cannot see these unless you are very close to the truck. The interior is super nice. The white door panels do show some wear, but are still very nice. The air conditioner does work. The radio does not work.
