Out of all the vintage cars I've driven, this truck gets the most attention by far. I've put a lot more $ into this truck than it will sell for, the good news for you is that you're going to save thousands over buying a $2,500 truck and bringing it to this level. Here's what you're looking at:This is a truck that is fundamentally solid, I would start it up right now and drive it anywhere without a moments hesitation, in fact I just completed a 300 mile drive a week ago. We like the patina, so never touched the body. However, there's been a lot done to this truck within the last year. Here's what we've done: All new stock wiring harness in 100% of the truckv- every wire replaced with stock new - the rats nest of 50 years of repairs removed.Gauges completely refurbished - everything works as it shouldNew heater switch set - helpful in the colder months! New gas tank and fiberboard cover All new wheel bearings, suspension bushings, ball joints and springs, the suspension is essentially new.All new steering ball jointsNew power steering systemNew power brake system, all brake lines replaced along with wheel cylinders and shoes. Engine resealedRear end upgraded for better highway cruising Rebuilt as-new inner fenders Re-cored radiator all new hosesRefurbished heater core and motor New exhaust Completely tuned up with all new ignition parts, rebuilt carb, etc. Everything we replaced we replaced with the exact part that would have come from the factory - check the hose clamps for example. There are a ton of little things that I'm not thinking of such as any bolt that didn't come from the factory was replaced with the correct bolt, plus more. Condition:Engine, starts and runs well, It was not rebuilt as it just doesn't need it. It is completely stock.Transmission quiet, smooth shifting, not a single problem (4 on the floor with granny first)Everything that would affect reliability and safety has been replaced or refurbished. The bed appears to be original, with some of the black paint remaining. It is in reasonably good condition. The rest of it is pretty much as you see it. There is some rust in the cab corners, otherwise its a honest truck. We never touched the exterior because we like the patina, and from the comments we get literally everywhere we go with it, a lot of people seem to agree. The fact is, there are trucks that look better to some people, but there are none, and I mean none that are better where it counts, the stuff you don't see but is important if you want it to go anywhere you want to go safely and reliably. EVERYTHING works, all lights, radio, everything. Period. With the exception of the body, this truck is exactly as it would have come from the factory - well, the lowered springs were added. Runs great - down the road at 70+ not a problem. You might think it's strange that we spent the time and considerable money to bring everything back to stock (trust me this truck had a lot of shade-tree "fixes", as most do) when the exterior is along the rat-rod style, but to me it made sense. I like to know that all the mechanics and electrics are right, no bodged up crap and fixes. I figure these trucks are still here because Chevy engineers knew what they were doing at the time and that's the way I like it. Plus, I wanted to drive it anywhere, anytime without worry. I think you'll love it. My wife is ready to kill me for listing this truck by the way, and that says a lot right there. If you want to fly to Kansas City, I'll pick you up at the airport, and drive it home - I highly recommend it.

This is a '69 Chevy pickup in very nice shape. It has power steering, manual three speed column shift transmission, 250 inline 6 cylinder engine. Exterior: Recent paint, has had all the cab corners, rockers and cab mounts installed. The paint is a 7 out of 10. Very shiny, shows well with a couple blemishes. New grill, new bumpers, New emblems. Also has Extang tonneau cover installed. Window glass is all good. Very shiny paint...looks very nice with no major scratches or dings. The inside of the bed looks pretty good...it has some dings and small dents but nothing major. Good paint in the bed. NO RUST AT ALL ANYWHERE ON THE TRUCK. No rust bubbles...none. Interior: New gray seat cover with new seat foam, new floor mat. New gauge bezel. Newer style Pioneer CD player with bluetooth and remote control. Smaller Chevrolet steering wheel, really makes driving more enjoyable especially for larger folks. Good factory seat belts. Mechanical: The engine is an inline 6 cylinder. Runs perfect. Has new wires and plugs with a tune-up. Has original type exhaust that exits behind the left rear tire with chrome tip. Truck has been lowered 2 inches in front and 4 inches in rear. Stance is great. The transmission is a column shift 3 speed that works great with no noises. Clutch feels strong. Rear axle is a 3.73 ratio and operates with no noises or issues at all. Tires are brand new Yokohama radials on Chevy Rally wheels with good trim rings and center caps. All in all this is a very nice little short bed Chevy that is ready to enjoy now. It has ALWAYS been a short bed. This is NOT a shortened long bed. I believe everything works on it except the windshield washers. That stuff is not even on the truck. The previous owner told me the mileage is original. The truck is too old to confirm this though I thought it was worth mentioning. It has a few small blemishes in the paint. On the left door at the body line there is a bump that looks like it wasn't sanded properly...about the size of your thumb. The right bedside has the paint blistered on the body line. It it about a foot long and 1/2" wide. See pics. If you have any questions, you can ask on here or call or text (573)631-1941. I can be here virtually anytime for viewing. Clear title in hand. I will help with shipping arrangements if needed.
