This is a beautiful 1953 Chevrolet Belair old-school custom, which is very rare. This car is an older frame-off build. It was in a Florida collector's garage for many years and is still in excellent condition. There are no bubbles or cracks in the paint. It is a base/clear coat paint. For the perfectionists, there is an area of waviness on the driver's side above the fender skirt (shown by arrow in one picture). It's visible only at certain angles. I think the pictures I took show the true quality of the body. It's nice! Engine is a 327cu.in. Transmission is a TH350 automatic (pan gasket has leak right now). Car was professionally chopped, lowered, shaved, frenched, and customized. It has air shocks in the rear w/compressor in the trunk. The car will raise up to drive onto a trailer. It has drum brakes, w/dual master cylinder. Power steering. All windows operate properly, as do the wipers and lights. Brand new www radials. New brakes. It has Smitty type glass pack mufflers, sounds cool like it should. Keep in mind, this is not a high-tech car, just a cool piece of custom history.
