2003 Avalanche 2500 4x4 with the POWERFUL 8.1 liter 496CID engine. This vehicle is very much like a 2500 HD pickup, 10.5" full float rear, 8600 Front end, 4l85E HD automatic transmission, all in a very comfortable 4 door platform. Wheels are the FORGED Aluminum Polished that the HD vehicles get, not the cast wheels of the little 1500 versions, tires have only 2000 miles since new, brakes and all other normal maintenance items have been done in the last 12 months. Vehicle has 188,500 miles but drives and runs perfect with no rattles or squeaks. I installed the bull bar on the front to have a place to add the KC Highlights for additional nighttime light, I'm 62 years old and don't see as well at night as I used to, you may not like it, if so, it removes very easily with a few bolts, but they will light up the road at night. I have always changed oil at 3000 mile intervals and it does not consume, burn or leak any oils. It is as advertised a FOUR WHEEL DRIVE and it all works as it did when new. I am the second owner, I purchased it as a trade from the original owner. This vehicle has never been used for commercial work or towing and has never had a snowplow or such things on it. I purchased it to tow my boat north in the spring and back home in the fall, I have only done THAT twice. Mileage? BEST YOU WILL GET, Again I say BEST you will get is 15mpg if you set cruise at 55 mph on highway trips. 14 is the best I have gotten running 70 mph from Lansing to Muskegon on I96. With the mileage thing said, this vehicle WILL PULL what you hook it to! These 2500's are not coil sprung rears like the 1500's, these are leaf spring just the same as a 2500 HD pickup, TOUGH. The ONLY Bad is the drivers seat needs fabric repair and this is being done the week of December 6th at a very good local upholstery shop here in Eaton Rapids. ALL the photos were just taken December 6 2015, these are NOT 2, 3 or 4 year old pictures such as some folks put up here. This is a nice truck that has a LOT of life left in it. This vehicle is advertised for sale locally and may sell at any time which will cause removal from Ebay.
