I'm listing this car for my father. It's been his prize and obsession. It's a recent frame-on restoration of a car that was already in nice shape when he started. Without exaggeration, the paint is better than new. (The body shop spent months smoothing, sanding, and buffing everything to as close to perfect as possible.) The paint under the hood and trunk lid are as nice as the exterior. The motor is a 350 with headers, 4-barrel carb, and dual exhaust. The transmission is a powerglide automatic. Power steering was added to make it a functional driver. All are in great working order. The interior is a new original replica replacement. The tires are new, and a unique customer wooden storage trunk is also included. Additional photos are available upon request. If you have questions, please call 570-655-3491. You'll get better answers from my father than you will from me by email or eBay messaging. (The car is located just outside of Wilkes-Barre, PA. The listing may indicate that it is at my location in Philadelphia, which is incorrect.)

1957 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door Sports Coupe (Hardtop) – Matador Red with Cream Top - Restored To OriginalOVER 75 PHOTOS & VIDEO BELOW The '57 Chevy Bel Air hardtop sports coupe is one of the most popular cars ever built and this particular expertly restored classic retains the gorgeous original look and the unmistakable growl of the 283 V8. Restored to original - she drives fantastically and feels like a real 1957. This car is absolutely beautiful, clean, and straight. As you can see in the photos below (including many of the rebuilding process) she's had a complete overhaul and has been kept in immaculate condition. I'm the third owner and since I've had her she has not seen rain. The interior and exterior are as close to flawless as you can get. Color wise - Matador Red and India Ivory are the archetypal '57 Chevrolet colors and although this is a knockout car no matter what color it is painted, the bright and shiny matador red only emphasizes the timeless look and keep heads turning as you drive by. All the Bel Air glitz is here including the polished stainless strips along the fins, anodized panels, and the beautiful chromed bumpers. Particularly dramatic is Chevrolet's two-tone cloth and vinyl interior in black and red. This period correct "676" interior is flawless. Everything about this vehicle has been expertly restored to stock condition, including the steering wheel, instruments, and all the soft parts. The carpets are protected by slick floor mats with Chevrolet emblems on their faces. Chrome is brilliant. All gauges, windows, valves, etc function properly (except for cigarette lighter and clock which both currently don't work). The photos don't do her justice. This is a real beauty - a true head-turner. - Engine 283 Cu. In. - Correct "676" Black And Red Cloth Interior-VIN # VC57A149886 - Block # 3731548 for 1957 Chevrolet passenger car & Corvette block - Pad # FI04F Flint Michigan – September 04, 1957 –- 2 Barrell Carb - Dual Exaust - Changed Valve Guide Seats - Air Shocks on Back with Disc brakes on front - Power Glide Transmission – Just had seals replaced Aug. 2013 - Has California one piece front Bumper (East Coast Bumpers are three pieces)- Cigarette Lighter and Clock do not currently work- Like all 57 Chevys - when this car sits for a long time it may leak a tiny bit of oil Also included (not in photos) are the fender skirts (primed only) as well as 4 extra 57 Chevy wheels INSPECTION:Vehicle is sold as-is with no warranty so vehicle is available for inspection in Greensburg, PA by appointment. I welcome an inspection by you or your designated representative. Cost of the inspection is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Hello and thanks for looking, for sale is a Very nice looking/running 1957 Chevy that really needs nothing but a new owner to take the family to cruise nights and car shows. Believe me, you'll be proud to show up in this car. Get ready for people staring and thumbs up wherever you go because you're driving one of the most iconic cars of our generation, the 1957 Chevy! Mechanically, it's as solid as they come. In the spring it went through the very strict Pennsylvania inspection and hasn't been driven much since then. In the past year we spent a little over $6,000 in improvements including, Power disc brake conversion, Flowmaster dual exhaust system, motor mounts, front shocks/springs, battery, alternator, radio, paint, front sway bar and u-joints to name a few. Everything works, lights, turn signals, power antenna, even the clock. The 350 engine and 4-speed transmission operate the way they should with no issues whatsoever. The exhaust has a really nice mellow tone thats not too loud, I think it sounds just right. The exterior is excellent including the chrome as seen in the pictures, on the 1st picture there's a little peppering on the bumper under the left parking light. The paint is smooth, straight and glossy with no damage as seen. The interior has been re-done and is very nice as well, please see photo's. Please read below, Your satisfaction is most important to me, after all you may buy this vehicle sight unseen. Please feel free to contact me from 10am-10pm at 215 485-8253 or 215 808-8448 before auctions end and I will do my best to answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding this vehicle. If you're in the Philadelphia area and you wish to view this vehicle before bidding, feel free to do so if you wish. Although the odometer reads 19,131 the title is exempt, cars in Pa. older than 10 years can be exempt from mileage. I'm sure it has more than 1900 miles, I just don't know exactly. AS IS - NO WARRANTY This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. I will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Obviously, with an older car I'm sure you can always find some nit-pick stuff you'll want to do to improve it. Please be realistic, although this is a really nice car and $1000's have been spent making it this way. This is not a nut and bolt restoration, it is however an honest car that looks, runs and drives excellent. Come on by and see it for yourself or I'll be happy to do a complete walk around, I'll even climb underneath and look at anything you want and describe it to you over the phone. Payment, $500 at the end of the auction through Pay Pal. At the end of the auction, I will accept cash in person, that is the prefered method. However, I can accept bank to bank transfers. if you would would like to pay with a cashiers check it will delay your taking possession of the vehicle, it must clear with my bank, that could take a few days.
