Hello everyone and thanks for taking the time to view my 1984 GMC Sierra Classic short bed. This truck was special ordered back in 83 as an early build 1984 model with some very nice features (some are very rare), and is absolutely incredible. This 84 short bed survivor is completely stock and all original other than the Desert Sand (code 64) paint was repainted about 10 years ago. The truck has never been in an accident and has never had any panels replaced, but the Desert Sand paint was resprayed due to fading. The tan (code 61) on top and bottom is original and from what I can tell, has never been resprayed. Rest assured, it has had a very easy life and has been very well maintained. I’ll do my very best to describe “Papaw’s” truck from top to bottom and front to back. Exterior This Sierra Classic has always been garaged kept and it is very obvious that this truck has always been loved. The paint is astonishing and still shines like new. The grille is original with no breaks or cracks, but it does have some slight fading. It looks great for it’s age. The front bumper looks excellent and the chrome shines like new. The hood is superb with no dents and rock pecks are minimal. Both fenders are flawless and look great. The doors are great with no issues and even the bottoms look excellent. The bottom of the doors on these trucks are prone to rust around the drain holes, but not on this truck. It has been a southern truck all of its life and it shows. The rocker panels (which are also prone to rust) are flawless and without issue. The bedsides are superb with no dings or dents and they're perfectly straight. The tailgate is in good shape, but there are a few scuffs at the very top where you can vaguely see the remnants of the bed liner that used to be attached to it. I touched it up, but upon close inspection, it can be seen. Inside the bed is incredible. Yes, its missing some paint and the bed liner wore some of the paint off in certain areas, but for a 31 year old truck, it looks amazing. There are no major dents inside the bed, nor is there any rust in it. Its really nice seeing an original bed floor because all of the factory seam sealer can be seen. You can really tell how well the truck was taken care of and just how nice it is by examining the bed. The tool box is a Delta and is smaller than most. I really like it because it doesn’t take up a lot of bed space. The top is in fantastic shape with no dents, dings or issues. The roof still retains its original tan paint as well. You can see on the very edge, right above the sliding back glass, that the paint is getting thin, but its just on that edge. The wheels are factory “bullet hole” GM wheels and are excellent for their age. They are not as shiny as a new set would be, but they are great. Of course, these could be polished out and made to look like new if someone wanted to. They are not beat up, damaged, or scraped up bad. The tires have probably 50-60% left and are the original style Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires. Interior The Mahogany interior of this Sierra is absolutely stunning and is by far the nicest original interior that I have ever seen personally. Remember, this was a special ordered truck, so even though it may seem odd, these options are original. The bench seat still retains the original mahogany vinyl covering and there is not even a single rip in it. I have never seen a Sierra Classic or a Silverado with a vinyl seat covering with all power options, but this truck was ordered that way. It has power windows, power locks, sliding back glass, quartz clock (that still works), AM/FM radio (works perfectly), tilt steering wheel, cruise control (still works perfectly), and a/c (blows ice cold). A few things to notice is that the carpet is perfect with no fading and is original. There are distinct differences in original carpet and replacement carpet. This is definitely the original GM carpet and its amazing. The original mahogany dash is in excellent condition with only two cracks in it. One is at the very end on the passengers side where the dash comes to a point, right beside the silver dash insert (the one that has the Sierra Classic emblem in it), and the other crack is in the speaker section on top. These are very minor and are definitely not bad enough to cause someone to want to replace the dash. All of the gauges work and look great. All of the lights work and there are no issues that need to be addressed inside. The steering column and tilt work great. Its very common for the column to have play in it, but it isn't an issue on this truck. The mileage shows just over 50k and everything functions as a 50k miles truck should. Engine/Drivetrain/Under Hood/Under body The 5.0L 305 V8 is original along with all of the engine’s internals. It has never been apart or out of the truck. This truck was ordered with a 5.0L paired with a turbo 350, so it is a 3 speed automatic. The TH350 is a tried and true transmission that rarely gives any trouble. This truck runs, drives and shifts flawlessly. Under the hood, the engine bay is all original and looks incredible. It is very clean and tidy. Thats just how it has been kept. It hasn't been “freshened” up under the hood, nor has it been touched up with any paint under here. Its literally just that nice. Notice the factory paint markings on the firewall and on the radiator support……those are very rare to see on a truck thats 30 years old. Just look at the inner fenders and all of the other parts that are prone to rust…….those areas show just how nice this truck is because those areas are flawless. Notice the infamous build sheet thats still on the drivers side inner fender. A couple of really cool options to notice are the TH350 as mentioned and the Sequoia Special package. From what I can tell, the Sequoia Special is like a z71 package on the newer trucks. This truck has an aux. trans cooler that is definitely factory and the factory original suspension makes the truck stand up a few inches taller than a standard GMC Sierra without that package. I have three other 2wd mid 80s Silverados and this Sierra is noticeably taller by a few inches. Underneath the truck you’ll find a beautiful chassis that has never been wrecked or butchered. It is pristine underneath and looks just as you’d expect after seeing the topside. The floors, cab, bed, etc all look amazing. Honestly, you’ll be hard pressed to find a nicer truck for any amount of money. It really is a time machine. Please take the time to view all of these pictures, so you’ll know exactly what kind of glorious truck your making an offer on. Thanks for looking at all of the pictures. I took a lot of them because I don't want there to be any surprises for the next owner. It really is a great truck and I know the next owner will be proud of her. It really is a truck that will make you smile every time you drive her. I've driven a lot of these square bodied Chevy and GMC trucks over the years, but never one like this one. The steering is so perfectly tight, the ride is soft and smooth, and the power is very linear. The buyer is responsible for shipping or pickup and even though, I know this is a phenomenal truck, it is being sold as-is with no warranty (obviously). I have driven the truck almost daily for the past 3 months since I've owned the truck. If I could keep it, I would and I realize that I'll probably never own another Sierra Classic this nice. I have the clean and clear Mississippi title in my safe and it is titled to me personally, so it'll be a very easy transaction. I would also like to mention that the mileage on the truck is supposed to be original. The cluster has never been changed or tampered with, but I ran an AutoCheck on it and it shows the mileage in the 80k range about a decade ago, then 100k a few years after that. I asked the previous owner's wife about it and she told me that AutoCheck was wrong and that this truck never had that many miles on it. She said that the mileage shown (51k) is correct and that they just wrote something down at the courthouse because it was exempt anyways. The truck speaks for itself and you can most definitely tell that it has to be low miles by the way it looks and drives. The mileage shown on the odometer to the best of my knowledge is correct. This is a 1984 GMC Sierra Classic. The factory 305 was replaced with a rebuilt 350, two years ago. It has less than 20,000 miles on the rebuilt engine. The truck comes with 22" rims and tires. Rare 1986 GMC Sierra Classic K1500 4X4 SWB Automatic Cruise control Short Wide bed You won't find another one around this clean. I have a brand new ac compressor and evaporator both still in the box that go with it. Less than 6 k miles on the motor and the tranny I've got the paperwork and receipts. New drive shaft, New windshield, New back Glass, New cargo light, New hood ornament, New trim inside and out, New Carpet, only one small crack on the dash, New belts, New hoses, New Premium Paint job not a cheap one!!!,Just had a remanufactured quadrajet carburetor installed, Tires have less than 4000 miles on them The size is 31 x 10.5r15c Goodyear Wrangler Authority A/T They still have the nobbies on them this truck has been babied hasn't been 4 wheeling, or being taken off road. This was a California Truck so everything is correct under the hood and works correctly. The Paint matches factory codes. All Guages work properly. both gas tanks work properly and guages to them as well both tanks have been dropped down cleaned out new sending units new switch hub and new switch inside cabs well. has locking gas caps. 2 sets of keys 2 sets of alarm and keyless entries The Clifford Alarm Systgem and aftermarket keyless entry were unhooked at the time of the new paint job there is nothing wrong with them you will just have to rehook them up or have someone do it. The 4 wheel drive works perfectly and its manual locking hubs and they are perfect (Not loose). You won't find any dents or dings or any rust in or on this one. All new window rubber and tracking new rubber around wing windows as well. Has a very nice Kenwood CD Player and Stereo. Has Cruise control that works correctly as well. This Truck starts right up every time perfectly no pumping it as there has been an electronic fuel pump installed makes it like it is fuel injected!!! A lot easier to start it that way!!!! You won't have to do anything to this one. This truck will get you thumbs up at every stop light, You can see the truck at my house here in Rogers. I don't need help selling this truck either. 1993 GMC 1500 Sierra pick up. A decent work truck. I have carried 40 sheets of plywood and 3/4 of a yard of sand in the bed. I encourage you to come check the truck out in person and take it for a drive before you place a bid. 4 wheel drive, 4.3 liter engine runs very good. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer Jimmy. Both the body and under carriage are rust free. Only 76182 original mles The interior seats (front and rear) have been updated to a 1990 model. (have the original but they are so uncomfortable) The radio has been updated to a Retro Sound with blue tooth(the dash is uncut) The speakers have all been upgrade all in their original locations. I have also had heated seats installed with the switch located in the center console (see pics). I have also installed power remote door locks. There is new carpeting installed. Everything from the a/c, cruise control p/w, p/l, rear p/w window works. The engine ( original GM 350) (has had GM vortec heads, Performer Intake, a mild RV cam, MSD ignition, an upgraded QuadraJet carburetor, L&L headers and an auxiliary transmission cooler. The front automatic hubs have been replaced with Warn manual locking hubs. Both the front and rear axles have new locking front and rear differentials and 3.73 gears. There are duel batteries installed so there is plenty of power so the winch can be powered in either the front (mounts behind the front license plate see pics) or rear (cant get stuck that way). Rims are original factory rally II. The tires have less than 1500 miles on them. All the shocks, steering box and a/c compressor are new along with numerous bushings and other parts. I gave you all the good here are the things that are not perfect. There is a small chip on the tailgate and on the right side of the hood both which are less than 1/8 (the size of the tip of a dull pencil tip), which have been touched up. There are also a couple of small chips in the windshield that have been sealed. I can send additional photos or answer any questions. If you are looking for a nice K5 this one is ready to go. Up for sale is one 1986 GMC Sierra C1500 pickup truck in great condition. This is a unique truck in a condition that is hard to find. This truck has been sold between friends and family. Anyway, this is rare find if you're looking for 30 year old classic GMC or Chevy truck of this period. This is the 4th generation truck that GMC made between the years 1973 through 1987. Of course, there were subtle changes over the years, but the biggest came in 1981 with improvements in the overall design. This particular GMC C1500 has the 305 cubic inch motor with the TH700R4 four-speed transmission with Overdrive. The current odometer reading is 75,804. My father and I have spent well over $7,000 restoring to the point that you see in the pictures. Overall, the trucks runs and drives smoothly. This is a two owner classic. A true example of Detroit muscle in a pickup. Check out the NADA value on these. I haven't ordered a Marti report but the combination is fairly rare. This would need nothing if you want to fly into Glasgow and drive it home. I've put about 2000miles on it in the past three months. Everything works great! It has a great ride.It has brand new Cooper Cobra GTs and dual tanks that will be full.It can break the tires loose from a standing start or at 25 mph. And it's all stock! It does have some rust on the bottom of the front right fender. Outside sheet metal will need a little patch there.It had running boards all the time. I just took them off. There is no hurry to move it. Except it will have to be outside.If you need help getting a shipper let me know. I may change to buy it now for serious buyers.

GMC 1500 Sierra Classic short bed trucks are uncommon, and don’t come up for sale that often, especially in this condition. The third generation Chevrolet and GMC trucks were one of the best selling platforms in their history. This era included 1973-1987 models. Development of the new third generation trucks began in 1968, four years prior to production in 1972, with vehicle components undergoing simulated testing on computers, before the first prototype pickups were even built for real world testing. The redesign was revolutionary in appearance at the time, particularly the cab, departing from typical American pickup truck designs of the era. Aside from being near twins, the Chevrolet and GMC pickups looked like nothing else on the road. As a result, the third generation trucks are officially known as the "Rounded-Line" generation. Some people may refer to them as "square bodies", given that the trucks appear square-like when compared to more modern automotive design standards. GM's engineers fashioned the "Rounded-Line" exterior in an effort to improve aerodynamics and fuel efficiency, using wind tunnel technology to help them sculpt the body. Third generation design traits include "double-wall" construction, sleek sculpted body work, flared secondary beltline and an aerodynamic cab which featured rounded doors cutting high into the roof and steeply raked windshield featuring an available hidden radio antenna embedded into the glass. There were two types of pickup boxes to choose from. The first type, called Fleetside by Chevrolet and Wideside by GMC, was a "double-wall" constructed full width pickup box and featured a flared secondary beltline to complement the cab in addition to new wraparound tail lights. Both steel and wood floors were available. The second type, called Stepside by Chevrolet and Fenderside by GMC, was a narrow width pickup box featuring steps and exposed fenders with stand alone tail lamps. In 1981, there was a complete facelift to the design, and 1987 marked the last year of production for the third generation truck. This crew cab truck looks great, 8 out of 10 outside and 9 out 10 inside. Only a few minor scratches and blemishes and no previous body damage. It has new Nitto Grappler tires, nerf bars, bedliner, towing package, tinted windows, and a custom sound system. It has a touchscreen DVD/Navigation with bluetooth, Pandora Radio, and XM ready. rockford fosgate seperates in the doors, kicker comp 10" under the rear seat with a powerful amp to shake the truck or turn them down for a concert feel sound. Engine runs perfect with no issues, transmission shifts perfect with no issues whatsoever. Front brakes are less than a year old so this truck needs nothing but a new owner. 4 wheel drive works like it should with no noise from gear box. The leather isn't worn and the carpet looks great. It is all power except the seats. I had the door molding repainted professionally b/c they were faded like a lot of the white exterior molding do. The price is firm since it is priced way below what it is worth, I just need to sell it to buy a car since I will be traveling a lot in the future and need something that gets good gas mileage.
