2003 LINCOLN AVIATOR BASE RWD I am selling a 2003 Lincoln Aviator, Clear Texas Title in hand. I am the second owner of the SUV, I purchased it in August 2006 with 43958 miles on it from West Point Lincoln in Houston TX. In that time I have put roughly 64,577 miles on it (average of 7175 miles per year). I only use full synthetic on oil changes every 3500-4000 miles. I only use Premium Fuel in this car, the manufacture suggest 91+ octane. This is my daily driver so the mileage will change when the vehicle is purchased, should not have more than 100-200 miles added from time of posting. This vehicle is 13 years old; it will have the normal wear and tear, minor stains and minor dings. I am taking as many pictures as possible and including a video as well. As you can see in the pictures I have maintained the vehicles interior (leather conditioner every 6 months, carpet shampoo as needed, all trim cleaned with Mequiars cleaner, Mequiars ultimate interior detailer on trim/molding. I have an unlimited wash club membership with mister car wash and ran the Aviator through weekly (underbody wash, T3 conditioner, wheel polish, tire shine). I have taken it in to a Lincoln dealer twice and both times they could not tell me what the exact problem is but they suggested several options, when I asked them if that would definitely fix the engine light from coming on they said they could not be 100% sure….sounded like a money play to me. I ended up taking it to a shop I have been to several times before on a different car I am restoring and they put it their machine, they saw the voltage going to the Throttle Position Sender was dropping slightly below the recommend voltage for a split second and coming back up to where it suppose to be. The mechanic that ran the test said they can change out the Engine Control Module but if there is not a noticeable difference in the daily driving he would not do it if it was his car, so I have not done it. I drove it 850 miles during Christmas with no issues, I averaged around 18.1-18.3 MPG highway going 80-85 MPH with no issues. I had a scanner tool that I could just reset it when needed but I cannot find it now. You can go to any auto parts store to have it scanned and code reset or unplug the battery for 15 minutes (you lose all presets on the radio).When rolling the driver side window up sometimes when it reaches the top it will come back down halfway. When you are a inch away from the top you have to inch it in.Drivers Lock/Unlock sometimes has to be pushed a few times to get the car to lock/unlock.Center AC Vent does not blow as hard as it once did, I think a flab that directs air is stuck. The floor, defrost and side vents work great.Shifter Knob originally was covered in gray leather, it got very dingy/dirty after a while so I removed it and have keep it the way it looks now. Three Prevost's, and about six different dinghy's, and this is clearly the best dingy ever. Stick shift, just put in neutral, hook up and off you go. When you get to your destination you have a fun to drive, easy to park, 35 to 50 MPG run around car. Fold down the back seats and this thing carries a lot of stuff, and if that's not enough, it also includes Tule cargo pod. Comes with everything you need to hook up and go. Tow bar, safety cables, breakaway system (set up for air brakes), lights wired to your rig, weather tech floor mats, battery new this spring, tires at 20,000 and are 70% good. The trailer hitch was installed for moving the tow dolly, that we originally used to tow it. Switched to flat towing, which is much easier. The bad; Front wheels are scuffed from the tow dolly straps. There are some rock chips in the paint. There are some surface flaws in the paint. There are 6 small holes in the fabric dash panel on the driver side. Please read my feedback, many happy buyers, lots of which are cars, and one was an airplane.

With pickup trucks selling in record numbers, maybe the automotive buying public would appreciate a utility vehicle with the performance and comfort of a car and the utility of a truck. It worked in 1964, giving the mid-sized Chevelle a blue collar stable mate, and went on to sell successfully for more than two decades. With a recent repaint in black and orange and the big blower hanging out of the hood, it's hard to miss this El Camino, but you'll be struck by just how right it looks. There isn't an awkward line anywhere on the car, and the grafting of the pickup bed onto the Chevelle's front clip is seamless, a testament to the stylists at GM. The paint and bodywork remain in good condition throughout, with decent panel gaps and straight sheetmetal that has apparently never been rusty. The paint is two-stage urethane, so it'll be easy to maintain and the cool airbrushed Harley Davidson graphics on the bed sides give it a unique identity that looks familiar (even though today's H-D trucks are from the Blue Oval). The bed has obviously seen some use, but then what's the point of having a truck if you can't put it to work now and again? I guarantee you'll be the only one at the Home Depot with one of these carrying your supplies. Thanks to its Chevelle DNA, the El Camino benefits from the myriad of interior choices available to Chevelle restorers, including the two-tone bucket seats found in this Elky. A subtle contrast to the bright paint, the interior is so pretty you're almost afraid to sit in it. Using two-tone L.L. Bean leather and a factory look surely help maintain the upscale feel, but a few smart upgrades help make this a car that can be driven daily. The dark tan door panels look great and the orange accents and black dash pad carry the exterior look into the cabin. The carpets are a little dingy and might be the first thing to need attention, but you'll be pleased with how much room the bucket seats create. A four-spoke steering wheel works with the B&M shifter on the transmission tunnel to make it feel racy and there's a pair of auxiliary gauges under the dash. Familiar can also describe the powertrain, which is comprised of a 350 cubic inch Chevy V8 topped by a Weiand supercharger. Although it wasn't intended to look stock, it does have an awesome look with the big Demon carb and air cleaner sticking through the hood. Chevy Orange paint and polished aluminum valve covers look right and it's equipped with power steering and brakes so it's still easy to handle on the street. It's a great runner, properly tuned to run with boost, and with a huge aluminum radiator up front, the blown engine never makes you sweat in traffic. It's backed by a sturdy TH400 3-speed automatic transmission and the original 10-bolt rear end, which is plenty given the lightweight bodywork. The underside is pretty original so it's not show-quality, but it looks as if this truck has lived someplace warm most of its life. The long-tube headers and dual exhaust sound great and classic chrome Torque Thrust wheels and 205/70/15 Goodyear radials are the right choice for a traditional look. With all the goodness of a Chevelle and the practicality of a truck, perhaps it's time to revisit the El Camino. Better yet, take this supercharged Harley Davidson tribute home instead.
