It's a monster service rig, full crew 9 foot utility bed, dual rears, 4WD, and Duramax w/ Allison driveline. The truck is super clean with very little to fault it for, 1 or 2 very small nicks, interior is clean and smoke free, everything works, runs and drives like new and has been serviced. The box has the flip tops and it's a very sturdy setup, nicely closing/opening doors with circular lock cylinder security, and the truck has the PTO provision and built in exhaust brake as well as built in tow package. There's a ton of service records on Carfax as well. exterior The paint and body on this pickup appear very much original. It has a clean history report with no accidents; everything lines up, jives, and looks good. The paint as decent gloss and it hasn't seen any road salt. I've shown photos of the undercarriage, I'm sure it's seen a few dirt roads, but it's not a beat up gravel road truck. The tires have fair tread and are mostly an all season tread, not all terrains. The wheels look good, windshield is free of cracks, doors all open and close easily both on the cab and the box, and it has just a few nicks and light road wear about the body as well as use wear on the box. This is a high dollar box, very nice to open and close heavy gauge doors. It has very deep bins with tons of space for gear, and it'll last a very long time. interior The cabin is clean. It doesn't reek of smoke. The upholstery is free of rips, just a little light use wear again. The dash, doors, headliner, etc, all about the same. It has the typical slight discoloration on steering wheel bars, but I really couldn't find much else to fault it for. There's no clicker for keyless, it may or may not have it. We do have 3 keys each, ignition and utility box. mechanical This pickup runs and drives like it looks, great. It's smooth and well mannered, motor is nice and quiet, zero leaks, and all fluids look nice. It has a good deal of service records on Carfax and was clearly well kept. These trucks are very durable and this one has not been abused or modified. No, this one is professionally built, incredibly detailed, and beautifully finished and probably cost another 50% more than the asking price to build. If you want the kind of car that wins big trophies, gets on the pages of magazines, and flat-out dominates local cruise nights, they don't come much cooler than this. Most folks won't even get past the paint before they're speechless. The deep blue finish with intricate ghost flames looks simply spectacular, with the flames almost moving around as you walk around the car in the sunlight. Of course, that amazing paint is so impressive that you might miss the dozens of body mods that are under it, from the smoothed quarter panels to the shaved emblems to the removed vent windows. Bodywork is beyond impressive, with hardly a ripple or wave anywhere on the car and while it has been driven just over 1000 miles since it was completed, there are no signs of it anywhere. A cowl induction hood was added and that small change makes a big difference on the vintage '50s shape, adding an aggressive stance that it didn't have before. And the smooth grille, 1-piece bumpers, and modified taillights all help with the super slick look. Heck, even the gaps are tight enough to handle the Lexus ball bearing test. The interior is fully customized as well, starting with comfortable buckets flanking a fabricated center console. The glove-soft leather and suede was wrapped around the power bucket seats, the rear bench, the door panels, and even the console itself, but it still has a distinct 1950s flair. Detailing is extremely impressive, with little stuff like a courtesy light on the back of the console and the original E-brake handle reminding us that there were professionals at work here. The dashboard itself is fairly stock, but the gauges are a custom insert designed to fit in the original housing and A/C vents have been artfully integrated into the design. There's also a massive entertainment system that includes a Sony AM/FM/CD/iPod head unit, Kicker amp, and speakers stashed throughout the interior. Other goodies include a tilt column and power windows, making this a no-compromises cruiser. They probably spent more finishing the trunk than many guys spend on their entire interiors, so be sure to show it off when you take this car to shows. The entire chassis was swapped for an Art Morrison GT Sport chassis, which is anchored by a 350 cubic inch crate motor. Workmanship is outstanding and that Hilborn fuel injection system really makes a statement. There's a custom billet serpentine belt drive system, beautiful custom valve covers, smoothed firewall and inner fenders, and even the hoses for the radiator are custom polished stainless steel pieces. The chassis is fortified with Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners, stainless tubular A-arms, power rack-and-pinion steering, coil-over shocks, and a beautifully built dual exhaust system. The components are in like-new condition and the car runs and drives like a modern machine with superb handling and impressive ride quality. The lowered stance is just about perfect and those staggered Billet Specialties wheels carry 245/45/17 front and 275/40/18 rear Kumho performance radials. This car is impressive in every way imaginable. Years of work and tens of thousands of dollars produced what is easily one of the very best Tri-Fives we've ever represented. Most importantly, it's a factory fuel injected car, which by itself would make it the star of any show, but add in the gorgeous black-over-red color combination, a 4-speed transmission, and a high-quality restoration that's already won a bunch of big awards and you have a car that even at this price could be considered a smart investment. Fully restored seven years ago, this gorgeous fuelie offers what is arguably the most attractive of the early solid axle styling, with single headlights, just enough chrome, and a gently rounded tail that has exactly the right look for America in the late 1950s. The Tuxedo Black finish is quite nice, not perfect but exactly what Corvette judges look for. Gaps are even all around, the fiberglass underneath is in excellent shape, and even when you're working with fiberglass, it's critical to get it super straight if you're going with black. Fortunately, it appears that this car has always been special to someone, which is just as it should be with a unique find like this. The side cove could be a second color in 1957 and the combination of the fuel-injected engine, 4-speed, and a minimum of options strongly suggests that it was built for combat. Of course, none of that really matters today because the restoration is of such high quality that all signs of stress have been completely and professionally erased. The bright red interior was surely high style in 1957 regardless of what you were going to do with the car. Handsome patterned upholstery stays cool and looks great, and aside from some minor wear on the driver's seat cushion, it's extremely crisp inside. The big three-spoke steering wheel is color-matched to the rest of the interior and recalls the great sports cars of Europe, which was entirely intentional on Chevy's part. You got a full array of gauges along the center of the dash, but this one came sans radio, heater, and defroster, preferring instead to stick to just the parts that make it go faster. That's also true with the top, which is a removable hardtop only, so there's no folding soft top to add weight and slow things down. Like I said, this car was purpose-built for a reason and it's just as cool today as it was in 1957. For numbers junkies, this fuelie checks out. The engine is the original 283 cubic inch V8 and carries a 3731548 casting number and an 'EL' suffix on the stamping pad, denoting a manual transmission fuel-injected 283 with 283 horsepower. Only 756 283/283 '57 Corvettes were built, making this a very rare piece no matter how you slice it. And if that's not enough, all the ancillary parts check out, too, including the fuel injection unit itself, the distributor, generator, and starter. It was rebuilt to stock specs and runs superbly, so you can forget all those rumors of these units being troublesome. The 4-speed was new for 1957 and this appears to be the original transmission for the car and it feeds the stock rear end, and they highlight a chassis that was obviously detailed for show. A correct dual exhaust system cackles and barks like you'd expect and it sits exactly right on 6.70-15 wide whites with hubcaps and spinners, just as it was in 1957. Fully documented including restoration receipts, photos, and other important information, this is a high-quality Corvette that passes all the tough tests. We might venture to suggest that even at this price, it represents a very smart buy for the right collector. Think about it: you could have this beautiful Butternut Yellow hardtop, snarling big block included, or a Honda Accord. Not a very tough choice, is it? The early Chevelle hardtops are classics, with their simple ornamentation and dramatic flying buttress C-pillars, they look like nothing else. This one is a very clean, straight southern car that has been refinished with an eye towards driving it to cruise nights and weekend shows. Code Y Butternut Yellow is this car's original color and looks absolutely fantastic and the workmanship is nicely done, as even those massive quarter panels are straight and wave-free. No need for a cowl-induction hood, as it wears a stock one with those cool inserts, adding to the aggressive look while keeping it in the Chevy family. A blacked out grille and SS badges suggest there's more to this Chevelle than meets the eye, and the black vinyl top is not only in great shape, but provides the kind of contrast that works best on light colors like Butternut Yellow. Bright chrome bumpers add some sparkle, all the stainless is in very good overall condition. Much of the black interior was refinished in the original style, but remarkably the seats and carpets were left untouched. It's got some very, very minor wear, but the overall condition suggests a car that has always been properly maintained and the no-nonsense look of these early cars has its own industrial-strength appeal. A full array of gauges are in the instrument panel, an extra-cost upgrade with the SS package in 1967, and the woodgrained applique across the face of the dash adds some warmth. Everything looks quite authentic and in very good condition save for the face plate for the HVAC controls, which is definitely starting to show its age. The original radio remains in the dash, but could probably stand to be upgraded to something a bit more contemporary for cruising pleasure. In back, the trunk offers spatter paint and a crisp, clear set of reinforcing ribs, so you know the sheetmetal is in good order. With this car, you also get genuine V8 muscle, thanks to a thundering 454 cubic inch V8. It is dressed the way the factory might have done it, including Chevy Orange paint and chrome valve covers and air cleaner. It doesn't have any big, obvious upgrades that would distract from the presentation, although there's an Edelbrock carburetor hiding under that air cleaner. It starts quickly and easily with a nice rumble from the Flowmaster dual exhaust system, and offers quick reflexes compliments of the TH400 3-speed automatic transmission. The chassis is solid and clean as well, although it's pretty original so don't expect it to be all sparkly and perfect. Look a little closer and you'll find a rugged 10-bolt rear end and a mild lowering job to give it just the right rake. Perhaps the car's most striking feature, those staggered Coys wheels have been given the show chrome treatment and then wrapped in ultra-low-profile 255/40/18 front and 255/35/20 rear performance rubber. This clean Malibu offers a lot of fun that neatly straddles restored and modified. A great look that is only a few steps removed from stock if that's your thing, it makes a dramatic entry everywhere it goes. This 1947 Chevy Fleetmaster convertible coupe, for example, isn't trying too hard to look this cool, and with LT1 V8 power and a handsome interior, it's fun and comfortable with all the little stuff all sorted out. Isn't that how it's supposed to be? Bright red sure isn't a great way to stay under the radar, but given how well-executed this rod is, perhaps they wanted to show off a little bit. The '40s Chevy look was incredibly stylish, with fenders that stretched into the doors making the cars look longer and lower than ever. Much of the trim on this particular car has been shaved, including the door handles, beltline trim, and license plate bracket on the trunk, but the overall shape is instantly recognizable, even from a distance. Finish quality of that bright red paint is quite good with a brilliant shine, and it really is exactly the right shade of red. Good gaps suggest a car that has never really been rusty or wrecked, as well as quality workmanship during the build. Custom tricks include the painted headlight rings that give the illusion of frenched headlights, contrasting red paint on the remaining chrome pieces, and some tasteful pinstripe art in the usual locations. They also left just enough chrome on the car to make it sparkle, and the grille, bumpers, and other brightwork is in excellent condition. With so many rods that aren't...quite...finished when they hit the market, this one is highly polished inside, where you'll find a functional tan interior that looks OEM-grade. Bucket seats with a center armrest are wide and easy to get comfortable in for a long haul, and the gorgeous door panels incorporate the original hardware. The entire dash was restored using billet aluminum panels for a consistent look, and the layout was designed for convenience, making this a very easy rod to drive every day. Features include A/C, a tilt steering column, and an AM/FM/CD/iPod stereo system with speakers throughout the interior. Clean gauges look almost OEM in the dash and the A/C vents were nicely integrated rather than stuck on underneath. A full back seat makes it practical as well as fun and the trunk is upholstered to match. A coordinated tan top fits well and folds easily, stowing underneath a custom boot that was made from the same stuff as the seats. A 1991 Chevrolet LT1 V8 provides motive force, and it's definitely been dressed for show. Almost everything you can see up top was either painted bright red to match the body or chrome plated to sparkle. Cars like this show off build quality in the way hoses and lines are routed and the overall functionality of the car itself, and this one succeeds in a big way. Turn the key and it starts. The engine runs without hiccups and the TH350 3-speed automatic clicks through the gears without hesitation. The chassis was finished to match the body and offers rack-and-pinion steering, dual exhaust, and a 10-bolt rear end with highway-friendly gears inside. It sits right without being so low the ride gets abusive and the tallish 215/70/15 blackwall tires on chrome 5-spoke wheels give it a traditional look that fills the fenders properly. Classic looks, updated performance, and pro-built quality all make this very affordable little Chevy a slam-dunk. From the handsome bright white paint to the rumbling 350 under the hood, this cool pickup offers a custom twist on the original design. Finished in basic white, this truck is a movie star. The stepside bodywork offers dramatic styling with lots of swoops and curves, as well as brilliant use of trim, and all of it remains 100% intact on this hauler. Other styling details include the wing-like lip at the back of the cab, which probably has no real function but looks really cool, and the neat crease that surrounds the entire cab. Paint and bodywork are done to a good standard, so this truck will be right at home both at local shows and on the streets afterwards. There are bedrails to dress up the basic pickup truck look, but otherwise the package is pretty much as GM intended. All the original trim remains, too, from the massive front and rear bumpers and delicate egg crate grille, to the neat side mirrors that look like industrial art all by themselves. The bed floor is done in wood, as was typical back then, and it shows some patina today, which only means that you shouldn't be afraid to use this truck as intended. Trucks were austere machines when they were new, but this one has had a full luxury upgrade during the build. The original bench was recovered in gray patterned fabric, tying in neatly with the black carpets and white dash and door panels. Simplicity was the key so they didn't go overboard with upgrades, and while the build was obviously done a few years ago, it shows very little wear. The original gauges are a very cool setup with a single face that certainly looks restored, along with white-faced auxiliary gauges installed under the dash and a steering column-mounted tachometer. A digital AM/FM/cassette stereo fits neatly in the center of the dash without any major cutting or modifications and there are sturdy heavy-duty rubber floor mats that keep its truck credentials intact. When the truck was restored a few years ago, a 350 cubic inch V8 was nestled between the front fenders to make it runs as good as it looks. An Edelbrock carb helps make power, so it runs beautifully, and all the accessories were upgraded, including the alternator, power steering, power brakes, and a big radiator up front. A few chrome dress-up parts make it look good and the Chevy Orange paint is always a traditional touch that looks right. It starts easily with a great V8 rumble from the Flowmaster dual exhaust system, and with a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission, it's easy to drive. The chassis is clean but largely original, so it's not shiny and perfect. On the other hand, it shows off what clean living down south will get you and again, if you want to use your vintage pickup to get some chores done, this one will never complain. Cool Rally-style wheels with black centers and trim rings give it a muscular look, especially with those fat 275/60/15 white-letter radials. Still appealing, this cool old Chevy pickup demonstrates that things of quality have no fear of age. This 1972 El Camino is like a Chevelle with a bed, and it's great news for muscle car fans because it puts you behind the wheel of one of GM's great machines with a trunk that'll carry anything you can buy at Home Depot. With so many of these being work trucks when they were new, finding a clean, straight, unabused example like this is no easy task. It wears recently-applied bright red paint that looks great, especially when combined with black SS stripes on a cowl-induction hood. The work was finished not too long ago, and you definitely won't need to make excuses at the next cruise night where everyone will be digging the fantastic look. Those massive rear quarters are not so easy to get lined up and flat, so you know someone really cared about this Elky while it was being resurrected. SS badges suggest more performance than utility is under this truck's skin and the blacked-out grille and no-nonsense bodywork make a great point about no-frills performance. Note that the bed has nicely been finished and carries a drop-in bedliner that fits well and means you can carry just about anything without worrying about banging it up. The bench seat makes the El Camino practical enough to carry three passengers, just like any truck, but it's beautifully dressed in a fresh black seat cover. Nicely detailed, the dash is nicely presented with original gauges, and a familiar GM steering wheel adds a sporty feel that makes you forget you're driving a truck. This one comes complete with an under-dash A/C system, but that's about it for creature comforts, because this is even a radio delete car! The door panels are standard black, but I like the vent windows, which do a fine job of funneling air into the passenger compartment and they're sorely missed on today's cars. In addition, the headliner, carpet, dash pad, and window weather stripping are all new, so it feels like a new car inside with a notable lack of squeaks and rattles. The engine is a rebuilt 350 taken from a later model, and fitted with standard hot-rod parts like a 4-barrel carburetor and a set of block-hugging exhaust headers. Dress-up is limited to a chrome open-element air cleaner, but it runs well and pulls the relatively lightweight Elky around with a great V8 burble. Chevy Orange paint makes it easy to identify and there are plenty of signs of proper maintenance, not the least of which is how well it runs. A TH350 3-speed automatic shuttles horsepower back to a 10-bolt rear with 3.08 gears inside, making this powertrain about as reliable as they come. The chassis is solid, the floors are clean, and the glasspack-style exhaust system sounds great. It's cool to see the Chevelle's coil springs under a pickup truck, but they endow the El Camino with wonderful road manners and a pleasant ride, and all the upgrades available for Chevelles are virtual bolt-ons. Finally, a set of classic Rally wheels wears a set of staggered 215/65/15 front and 255/60/15 performance radials. Old or young, El Caminos are just plain cool. Performance, style, comfort and plenty of practicality make them as popular today as when they were new. If you're looking to join the Corvette hobby, this is a great way to get started for a very modest investment, and I'm guessing that this one won't last long in the showroom. Classic white never looks wrong on a Corvette, and while this one shows a few signs of age, overall it presents quite well. Fit and finish are about what you got in 1982, which was the end of the line for the dramatic Stingray. There are very few signs of age, no stress cracks, and even the bright white paint, which is a few years old, looks great. The headlight doors fit flush, the doors open and close with that distinctive Corvette "thunk" and there's no denying the universal appeal of a car like this. Up close you might note that even the chin spoiler hasn't been beaten to death on steep driveway aprons, and all the emblems are intact, including the subtle pinstripes on the "Coke bottle" fenders and "corvette" lettering (lower case, of course, this was 1982 after all) on the tail. Detailing is crisp and it wouldn't take much to push this one to the next level, maybe a professional cut and buff to really make it dazzling. But even as-is, it's pretty danged nice. Code 132 gray leather works well with the bright white bodywork, creating a classic combination that will never go out of fashion. More amazingly, the seating surfaces are very well preserved, with hardly any evidence that this car is now 30 years old. The driver's seat shows some signs of age, but nothing that's out of line for being more than 30 years old, and the leather itself is supple and doesn't show many "comfort marks" let alone genuine wear. Those space-age-looking buckets are every bit as comfortable as they look, and the carpets aren't going to betray their age, either. Corvettes came loaded with accessories, including power windows, seats, and locks, A/C, a tilt wheel, cruise control, and yes, an automatic transmission was the only choice in 1982. However, this one has been retrofitted with a 700R4 4-speed overdrive unit, so it cruises effortlessly and actually pulls down decent highway mileage to boot. The gauges are fully functional, including the tach, and the stereo is a Kenwood AM/FM/cassette head unit feeding the original speakers. The original L48 Crossfire injection V8 is gone, replaced by a stout 350 cubic inch GM ZZ4 crate engine that was installed about 1000 miles ago. Featuring upgrades like a performance intake manifold and carburetor, electronic ignition system, and a set of shorty headers, it's considerably stronger than the wheezy smog-choked 350 it replaces. It's also quite nicely details, offering a chrome air cleaner and valve covers, a big electric fan, and new components throughout. The chassis is original but it shows no signs of winter weather and all the components intact and functional, including a catalytic converter, so this 'Vette is 50-state friendly. Even the original aluminum wheels remain unblemished with a nice shine to the aluminum, and wear staggered 255/60/15 front and 275/60/15 rear BFGoodrich T/A white-letter radials. Go ahead, try to find a nicer Corvette for less money. The Story: This is a hard to find 5500 crew cab flat bed and an awesome truck, 4WD with power everything and ready to work. This truck was adult owned, never abused, non smoking, non chipped. It starts, runs, drives and stops excellent in every way and will not disappoint you. Options and Equipment: Has a super strong running engine, auto trans, keyless entry, power windows/locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, AC, tint, factory trailer brakes, factory exhaust brake, tow package, receiver hitch, turn over ball, heavy duty flat bed, clean, non smoking gray cloth interior, good glass, new tires, stainless wheel covers and never any rust (see photos underneath) We installed 6 new tires, gave this truck a full safety inspection, oil/filter/fuel filter change, checked all fluids, air filter, inspected the brakes and undercarriage, has been cleaned/detailed inside etc. Though in excellent condition, this is a used 6 year old work truck and as you would expect there are imperfections, scratches, dings, wear, etc. I am being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback.
