FOR HIS SHORT BED STEP SIDE PICKUP THEN HE POSTED IT IN THE NEWS PAPER SO I SEEN THE AD AND WENT AND PURCHASE IT AND I TRY TO OFFER THE GUY MORE CASH FOR THE SEAT BACK BUT HE WOULD"T GIVE IN SO I JUST BOUGHT THE PICKUP AND WENT ON MY WAY !.I GOT IT IN 1992.I had it painted and a friend of mine did the interior . .THE ORIGINAL MOTOR HAD A BAD CAM IN IT SO I JUST PULLED IT OUT WITH INTENT TO REBUILD IT . IT'S NEVER BEEN BROKE APART FROM INTAKE TO OIL PAN .. MY SON JUST INSTALL A BRAND NEW RE -MAN CRATE 327 ENGINE ON 2/6/14 FOR ME! I STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL 307 ENGINE FOR THIS TRUCK IT GOES WITH THIS TRUCK IF SOMEONE WANTS TO REBUILD IT AND PUT IT BACK IN THE TRUCK DOWN THE ROAD THEY CAN ., I TOOK THIS TRUCK TO MY FRIENDS GARAGE TO DO A RESTORATION ON IT AND RE-PAINT IT. BUT WITH MY BACK ISSUE AT THAT TIME AND MY FRIEND WAS GOING THROUGH A DIVORCE I HAD TO STOP WORKING ON IT. I HAD A SHORT WINDOW OF TIME TO PUT THE TRUCK BACK TOGETHER AND PUT SOME PAINT ON IT TO KEEP IT FROM RUSTING. I DO NOT HAVE A BUILDING TO PUT IT IN AT THIS TIME. SO I MOVE IT FROM THEIR GARAGE BACK TO MY PLACE. I DID PUT LIKE 2 QUARTS OF PAINT N PRIMER ON IT AROUND 260.00 BUCKS WORTH OF MATERIAL ITS NASON PAINT MADE BY DU PONT 2K URETHANE PAINT SINGLE STAGE N 2K PRIMER IT COVER MOST OF THE TRUCK BUT IT DOES HAVE SOME SPOTS THAT NEEDED MORE COVERAGE NOT PERFECT BUT ITS GOT SOME PAINT ON IT TO KEEP IT FROM RUSTING .THIS TRUCK IS A EASY RESTORATION ITS NOT A RUST BUCKET!!IT JUST HAS VERY SMALL RUST REPAIR WORK THAT NEEDS TO BE FINISHED AND RE SANDED AND BLOCK OUT THE BODY PANELS AND RE PAINT IT.THE DRIVERS FENDER GOT BENT FROM A TIRE NOT HAVING THE LUGS TIGHT ENOUGH WHEN WE ROLL IT OFF THE TRAILER DARN TIRE CAME OFF AND BENT IT A BIT BUT IT CAN BE FIXED or REPLACE IT...
