Up for sale is my 1984 Camaro. It is a 5.0 ltr mated to a T5 5 speed transmission in Z28 trim. White on white with silver and black factory trim on the exterior. Dash and console are black in color. This is a very well maintained car that has been 100% reliable for me. I bought it from a dealership when I was in the service and for a long time it was my only car. I have driven it long distances with zero issues and I would expect it to have a long life ahead of it. This is one of the nicest stock 3rd gen camaros that I have personally seen. The dealership told me that the previous owner was the original owner, although I havent checked to see if that is true, and he took extremely good care of the car until he passed. This car has never been raced or run hard and has always been serviced regularly. The car is totally stock with a few exceptions. I have replaced the usual wear parts (alternator, muffler and tips, wheel bearings, brake rotors) and added a six pack battery when the battery died. I had new suspension parts installed including a Ground Control weight jack system with new springs and new Tokico adjustable shocks all the way around. The springs can be raised / lowered with the weight jacks with simple tools if desired, and the shocks can also be adjusted for a harder or softer ride. With this upgrade the cars steering and suspension is very well tuned and handles better than most brand new cars. Handling has always been one of the strong points of the third gen camaros and this has made it even better, and the ride is very smooth and comfortable. This car is in great condition but it is still a 30 year old car. The paint job is original and is starting to rub off in a few spots. These spots are very small but they are there, so this is not a show car. The interior is complete but there are some scratches on the plastics in the trunk and the carpet does have some small stains and usual wear. Nothing major but again, its not in show condition. I will have the car professionally cleaned, waxed, and detailed before a sale is made. The car has the stock cassette player radio and a power antennae. The cars heat and defroster work fine but it came from the factory with no A/C. One unique thing about the car is that it has two pull vents underneath the dash that allow air to flow in from underneath the drivers and passengers legs. I havent seen that feature on other third gens and dont know how common it is. If you are looking for a classic car that you dont have to wrench on every weekend this is it. It wouldnt take too much to bring her back up to show car condition, and it would also make a great full resto car. I have a kid on the way and sadly it has to go for something a little more family oriented. I am asking 6000.00 OBO, and also have it listed locally. Thanks for your time.
