This is probably the best '84 300 D Turbo on Ebay. I have had the privilege to help a guy sell this car, he used to own a repair shop in Norman OK for years. He's retired now and not in the greatest of health. It was driven by his wife every day, and if it needed something he did it. He also won awards at Pebble beach and other shows for his cars. All I did to get this car ready to take pictures was wash the dust off of it, no high dollar detail job to hide flaws. The engine compartment was very clean for a diesel. The tires might have 100 miles on them and it was just serviced, fresh interstate battery. The Becker cassette radio even works. EVERYTHING works on this car. Beautiful 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300D with only 155k. This vehicle starts and runs very well. The exterior paint in like new but the vehicle does have some typical rust. The interior is near flawless for a 30 year old vehicle with only minor imperfections. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work. I'm not sure if the power antenna doesn't work or maybe its just a bad fuse. There is a tiny star chip in the windshield. This vehicle was purchased at an auction so I'm not sure the history of it. Let me introduce you to my 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300D-T diesel. She's been a great old car; her name is Mary Ann. I've owned her for about 5 years and have been restoring her with top of the line OEM parts. She is truly classic and old school. Here are a few more details: No accidents. No major rust.Air filter is a K&N High Performance. Oil and filter changed routinely every 5,000 miles. At about 293,330 miles, this diesel engine is just getting broken-in. Rebuilt transmission and evaporator. AC blows cold. New JVC Arsenal HD65 stereo system with Alpine M500 amp and JL Audio 12" sub-woofer in the trunk. Tinted windows. The leather upholstery has no tears, some dark stains and scuffs, and minor fading. May need some seat cushion padding filler in front seats.Power locks operate with vacuum system; locks do not always go down when engaged (may have leak in line)Driver-side passenger door-stop included to replaceCeiling lining and sides need to be tightened, some tears. Some hard plastic rear accents loose. Back seat needs minor adjustment.No considerable body damage. Normal wear and tear: scratches, dimple dents, minor paint loss in places.All new hoses, lines, belts, vacuum lines in engine. Interstate battery.
