For sale is a 1978 Chevy K10 Short Bed 4wd Silverado. Truck Runs and Drives good, New 35 inch tires, 350 engine Automatic TH350 Transmission. 6 inch Suspension lift and 3 inch body lift. Posi rearend with 3.08 gears which makes it very drivable. Roll Bar, Rally Wheels, Silverado Interior, Factory ZY5 option paint scheme with 2 tone and hood stripes. Truck has new rotors/hubs, Front Calipers, Brake Hoses, Wheel bearings, Rear wheel cylinders, and a good PA inspection. Odometer shows 97K, Not sure if they are original or not because title shows exempt for mileage. Clean PA Title. No rust, nice frame. 1978 Chevrolet K10 Long Bed TruckIf you think this is a classic to hide in a trailer and roll into a show then guess again. This 1978 Chevrolet Long Bed rugged machine was meant to be driven! The K10 4x4 has that vintage look which does great at car shows but this isn't no trailer queen. It is the type of classic you can drive every day and then pull into the local cruise in on the weekends. The body is nice and straight with no problems. It is painted in a two tone green that is broken up by some nice stainless trim. The truck has trim throughout which is all nicely mounted in place. The exterior lights are working just as they should and mounted in nice clean bezels. The front chrome grill looks great in place with the correct Chevy bowtie emblem. It is brand new along with the chrome front bumper. Large side mirrors are in place on both sides which are fully adjustable. All of the glass is in great condition and has been nicely tinted. The bed of the truck has a nice rubberized liner in place to protect the Green paint underneath. The bed also houses a diamond plate tool box that matches the diamond plate trim down the sides. The truck rides on a set of original style wheels which have been powder coated and are wrapped with polished beauty rings. The tires are fresh so don't worry about having to replace those anytime soon.The 383 stroker motor under the hood is brand new and runs extremely well. It packs the perfect amount of power for this pickup truck. The automatic transmission shifts very smoothly and has been entirely rebuilt. This sends power through the drive train into the 3:70 posi trac rear end. The electrical system works with no issues and utilizes a red top Optima battery. The suspension is also on the list of rebuilt items as are the power brakes. The interior of the truck has been in the process of being restored. The only item that still needs attention is a small crack in the dash. The seats have been entirely redone to original but has a cover over it to keep it protected. This is the case with the dash as well which has a nice black cloth cover. The door panels and dash are all painted green nicely to match the truck. All of the original style gauges are working as they should and are mounted in a brushed aluminum style bezels. An aftermarket Premier AM/FM/CD player delivers a great sound and is mounted below the AC/Heat controls. Speakers have been mounted to the kick panels and sound awesome. An aftermarket polished billet knob tops the shifter to finish off the inside.This is a very cool truck that drives extremely well. Pickup trucks are undoubtedly one of the fastest-growing segments of the hobby, and it\'s no secret why. V8 power, lots of parts and knowledge around, and unmatched practicality that makes them an easy purchase to justify, all which make this 1978 Chevy C10 Cheyenne worthy of a closer look. Remember seeing trucks like this around town, maybe loading up at the hardware store or pulling a trailer? A lot of us do, which makes these Chevys in particular a sentimental favorite. The light blue and white color combination is how this one came from the factory, and it gives the old pickup a great look that\'s right for the time period. The upgraded Cheyenne trim package outlines the white insert with stainless trim, and it seems that the only notable modification is a custom grille insert that looks good on the front of this full-sized rig. The bed is in remarkably good condition, indicative of a truck that hasn\'t been used for work and was instead a daily driver, and it\'s protected today with a spray-in bedliner that should last practically forever. Nice chrome bumpers, a blemish-free stainless tailgate insert, and oversized front bumper guards add a bit of sparkle that works well with the light blue paint. The medium blue interior is in similar condition, with what appears to be a newer seat cover and everything else in good original condition. Even in 1978, a lot of trucks came with simple rubber floor mats, so the carpets in the Cheyenne package are much appreciated and suit the somewhat luxury-oriented truck. It has an unusual combination of options, including factory A/C, a tilt column, and a sliding rear window, but there\'s a radio block-off plate in the center of the dash. The steering wheel isn\'t original but from a slightly later GMC pickup, but it fits and works just fine. This Cheyenne also includes a full complement of instruments that are in good shape with minor fading on the needles themselves, which is typical. Soft vinyl parts like the dash pad and door panels are nicely preserved and not baked by the sun and the headliner doesn\'t sag. You could get a six in your full-sized Chevy, but most guys opted for V8 power. You\'ll find a 305 cubic inch V8 under the hood here, which is a great choice for the guy who just wants to drive his truck and doesn\'t plan any heavy hauling. Otherwise, it appears quite stock, which is a good thing for reliability and you know that it hasn\'t been abused. It also looks like the brake system was recently serviced with a newer power brake booster and master cylinder. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission and original rear end complete the powertrain, and the underside of this truck is in good order. The exhaust system was upgraded to dual glasspack-style mufflers at some point, so it has a great V8 exhaust note and factory Rally wheels carry big 235/75/15 radials. For not a lot of money, you have own a sweet-running vintage truck with a V8, and if anyone complains, just show them how much work it can do on the weekends. Call today!
