I have for sale a 1953 Chevrolet Pickup Truck. It has been customized to the specifications that are listed below. This is seriously a bad ass truck. It has the power that can only be appreciated by driving it. Along with the power is a very nice paint job as shown in the pictures. Another custom feature that has been installed is a lift unit attached to the hood. The interior has had a complete makeover with power windows and is immaculate. For sound, I’ve installed a high end Alpine system for FM radio and playing CDs. This vehicle is a usable and highly developed custom, high performance classic pickup truck with top detailing throughout. The tilt front end uses hydraulic lifts. The unique “wet look” paint scheme and interior, the 400 CID motor and vented disk brakes put this above the average street truck. It is in the mid 90th percentiles of show and go trucks. "Chassais and rear by Ken's Kustom Chassis in Leesport PA Rear is a Strange 9" Ford center section with 4:11 gears 35 spline axles with a billet Detroit Locker and AFCO double adjustable shocks. Front end is a Mustang II clip by Fat Man Fabrications with tubular A arms with Carrera coil over shocks and Mustang rack. The center section of the frame is original. Wiring is by Ron Francis. Wheels are Custom American Racing Torque Thrust II. 14 x 15 rear with Hossier Pro Street Radials 3l x 18.5 and front 4 x l5 with 26 x 7.50. The rear brakes are from ECI they are Pontiac rotors and Cadillac calipers. The fronts are late model Camaro. The motor is a GM crate 502 cubic inches and 502 horsepower with Barry Grant fuel system. The headers were built by Steve Kaliher of Frackville, PA The mufflers and oval pipe for thc exhaust are by Spin Tech of Riverside, CA. All the fittings and braided hose are by Goodridge Performance. The cooling system is by Evans with a Fluidyne radiator. The transmission is a Chevy turbo 350 reworked. The interior has Auto Meter gauges in the original dash with carbon fiber accents by Travis Snyder. Bucket seats are from a 2000 Subaru Forester. Carpet and interior cloth were done by CJ Young of CJ's upholstery Locustdale PA with all original moldings and handles used. The front fenders, hood and trunk lid are fiberglass by The Glass Shop of BelAir Maryland. All body work was done by Chuck, Dustin and Drew Miller of Birdsboro PA. Metal fab work by Walter Staller Schuylkill Haven, PA and Metal Service of Reading PA. Paint is water based and color is Sparklesent Mango by Auto Air Colors, East Granby CT. applied by Bob Barber and Chuck Miller of Paintworks in Pottstown PA. The grill and lower trim is chrome paint by ALSA Corp. in California. The frame is painted with POR-15 paint. Roll bar and under carriage and metal painted with Rust-Oleum Stainless Steel color paint. Any parts that were chromed were done by Qual Krom of Erie, PA. This car runs and drives great and does not get hot. It can be driven anywhere. The car was featured in Super Rod Magazine in 2007. It has won many Best of Show and First Place Awards, including The Studebaker Nationals in 2008. The previous owner restored this car to its original condition in 1980 and in 1983 won an award at The Studebaker Nationals in South Bend, IN. In 2009 it was picked by famous drag racer Bruce Larson for a special award. In 2006 it caught the eye of Big Daddy Don Garlits at the Mid-Atlantic Rod and Custom Car Show. This car, with the cage and roll bar can be certified by NHRA for drag racing. In 2010 we drove the car from Penna to the Woodward Cruise in Detroit MI, over 1,100 miles and won one Best of Show at the cruise.
