The body has been media blasted and sealed in an epoxy primer with zero body filler used and the underside of the body has been sealed with an commercial undercoating. All the front clip sheet metal is also very solid %26 straight, media blasted and sealed in an epoxy primer just like you see the body here, I also custom rebuilt the stock frame for it that the body is just setting on for now. It has Hi Tech Air Ride Suspension that will truly drive %26 handle like a modern sport SUV yet lay frame, Up front i installed a Strut style IFS with a Power Rack and large 13\" Disk Brake and not your cheese street rod MII crap, In the rear it has an custom Ford IRS setup with large 11\" Disk Brakes, The orginal mercury frames main rails have been boxed front to rear, Has motor %26 trans mounts for an LS motor %26 4L6e but we did have a Ford DOHC V8 %26 Aod mocked up also, The frame has been powder painted gloss black and it comes with 16\" rollers pictured here. Very rare make %26 model 1960 Mercury Cruiser Montclair 2 door hard top with the 430 MEL option, Not sure how many have servived but mercury made less than 6,000 of this 2 door hard top model and most had a 312 small block Ford but could be special ordered with the 383 or 430 big block MEL. This Mercury is a true So Cal car and is amazingly straight and rust free with less than 70k on the speed O and i think it\'s correct. The stock 430 has been rebuilt to the 1958 375hp performance specs, Higher CR, Hotter Cam, 1958 4br intake manifold with a Holley 4br double pumper. Also comes with the complete stock and very rare big port 2br intake setup. The Merc O Matic 3 speed automatic trans works good, shifts solid and does not leak. The stock 9\" rear end is in great condition. Also has air ride suspension with a 12V air pump and 5 gal air tank. Custom made 15\" wheels front %26* rear with custom made gold stripe white wall tires. Car will run drive %26 stop but is not a driver. The interior is all stock and there but it needs to be redone. Have all the body trim and its in good condition for its age. We had no budget to hold us back but from many decades ofreal hands on experience we decided to rework the stock mercury frame even thoughmercury had done a great job with their stock factory frame. We installed an upgraded 1980 Trans Am frontsuspension clip and added bigger Willwood disc brakes, A big 1.375sway bar and big 7 air bags for a superior ride. In the rear weinstalled a 1968 Camaro 12 bolt posi with Willwood disc brakes, ChrisAustin parallel 4 link with a pan hard bar so we would not have torework the rear seat floor, U notched the frame and installed 6 airbags.
