Up for sale is a crx that I built around 4.5 years ago. I bought the car bone stock (minus the steering wheel and front seats) from the original owner and did a majority work myself minus the tig welding and dyno tuning. I built the car with the intentions of it being a super reliable, quick, sleeper. This car has never left me on the side of the road stranded. Everything about the turbo setup is hidden down to the untouched from bumper and tinted boost gauge. The turbocharger is a T3 45 trim Garrett turbo. The car makes 236whp on a dynojet dyno and runs 12.70s as it sits in street trim, it has potential for quicker times with slicks but I didn't build it to be a race car. It also gets 34-36mpg. There is a 2.5 inch custom exhaust on the car now with a straight through muffler. I also have a straight pipe'd bolt on rear exhaust section that comes along with the car. The color is "Celestial Blue" which was one of the more rare colors. The quarters are starting to get the normal honda rust. East side has a quarter sized spot behind the wheel. The interior is mostly stock minus the del sol seats and steering wheel which were installed by the original owner. Nobody has smoked in this car and I don't believe that the original owner smoked either. All of the sound system has been replaced with 6.5 inch aftermarket speakers along with an Alpine CD player with iPod and auxiliary hook up. Some other extras from a parts car that I previously had that will be brake calipers, brake booster/master cylinder, extra rotors, and a new rear drum brake rebuild kit. 1979 MGB - RED - FOR PARTS OR RESTORATION - LOCAL PICKUP ONLY Car DOES NOT RUN. Fuel lines were rotten front to back from sitting unused, tires are rotten, rust on rocker panels a small spot on drivers side fender, top side by hood. Convertible top had a slice in it about 8" long when I got the car, I sealed it but top will need replaced. Car is solid with a lot of potential, was garage kept most of its life and driven only on Sundays by the previous (first) owner. Electrical system looks to have been replaced by a professional and when I hook jumper cables to the battery all the lights work fine. Missing 1 windshield wiper blade and has a scratch in the windshield from someone turning on the wipers without it, but this is fixable (can be buffed out). I have never attempted to turn over the motor since I have had it, had planned to drain all the fluids and get it started this past summer until I discovered the fuel lines were all rotten. Clean title, lots of potential. I can provide more pictures upon request via email and if I can answer any questions for you I'd be happy to. *Mileage reflected on odometer may not be 65k but possibly 165k ...however this car had only 1 previous owner before me and as I was told they were an elderly English couple that only drove the car on the weekends to go on picnics together, so who knows maybe it is only 65k, nonetheless keep in mind the odometer cant show a 6 digit number. I never drove it and received it in the same condition as it is today. The title is clean and in the original owners name signed and ready for transfer, I never titled it in my name so you would legally be the 2nd owner when you do so. Pulled the stock nv3500/np231 and swapped in an sm465 (late model alum cover top, hydro alum bell, new braided clutch line and fittings), new GM flywheel, new 13" LUK clutch kit, has a GM NP241 / Ford NP205 doubler. Used the kit from Trail Tech Fab. It is completely assembled and in the truck. Ford case has been twin sticked. I also installed the 205 rear case mount from TTF, also installed in the truck. Has new transmission mount and custom xmember. Front and rear custom bumpers, has a superwinch LP8500 on the front.Has a bunch of smalls like a toolbox, bed liner, battery disconnect, hi lift jack mounted to bed side, tie down rings, front wheeling lights and reverse lights on toggle.Currently running 37/12.50/R15 Interco SSR tires, 80% tread. Really all it needs is the custom shifters installed and a Y pipe fabbed to adapt the new headers to the flow master muffler. The shifters and linkage are already made, just haven't had a chance to install them.
