The very good: Total paint job years ago involved vehicle striped to bare metal. No rust anywhere to be found.Very solid vehicle. New electronic distributor, rebuild Weber carb.,new high performance exhaust, with header.New Timing gears and chain. New master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, new clutch and pressure plate, throw out bearing. New brake rotors, brake discs, and shoes. New rubber brake hoses. All new Michelin tires all around. New seats Houndstooth pattern and new carpets installed. New convertible top installed.New battery. New dimmer switch and headlight assembly installed. Wipers work, heater works. Drives very strong and shifts beautifully in all gears. The mileage is stated as 43185,which could be correct, but I can't guarantee that as I don't know. I do know it was sold in 1993 to a second owner I believe and it had 40545 miles on the title. The Spitfire was then put in storage and the body work was done down to the bare metal and painted. The vehicle was sold in 2005 and the new owner did the restoration to the sum of $7000.00 FOR PARTS AND LABOR. The headlights work, running lights work, high and low beam. There is dash lights and interior lights and running lights all the way around. The heater works and the wipers move, the horn works. . The paint should be buffed out as there are two minor scuffing parts on the paint where someone tried to wax the car. I am not a mechanic but I am a serious gearhead and I can tell you this car is strong and a blast to drive. It is not registered as of yet.I drove it around our private roads in my complex and it goes through the gears like butter. This car will have a title which is an old title that was never filled out by last owner. It will be included. However it will be sold with a bill of sale,as Vermont is a non-titled State for vehicles that old. I want a 500.00 payment to pay pal for a deposit and the rest in cash if you are going to pick it up, or a bank check which must clear before vehicle is moved. I will assist anybody who comes to transport vehicle, but don't want to get involved with any arrangements. You are buying this vehicle as is, there is no warranty or gaurantee what so ever. It is a project vehicle and I told you honestly it needs only minor work to the best of my knowledge. As you see the vehicle in the pictures is how I am selling it. The only reason I decided to sell it was that it is a tad to small for my fat as-. to climb in and out of. Thank you for considering it. Any questions I will try to answer as best I can.A manual with wiring diagram will go with the vehicle. Brakes are all new. Needs a slight bleeding as they appear to be a little spongy, nothing more. I tried to be very honest.I am sure I might have missed a little thing here and there. Bottom line is this is a keeper Triumph. Rust free, over $7000.00 in parts and labor done, Why spend a few years busting your ba---. when you couldn't buy the parts for the selling price. Included is a Tonneau cover. Stop being a watcher and start being a player. This is the only time this Triumph will be listed,as I dropped the price so much I am going to put it in long term storage next week in Connecticut if it doesn't sell. Located in Southern Vt., right off Rt.8 near the Mass. line. for easy transport.

The Bad: Easy weekend tinkering can fix the signal lights and go through the car to check systems. The headlights work, running lights work, high and low beam. There is dash lights and interior lights and running lights all the way around. The heater works and the wipers move, the horn works. The rest will have to be sorted out. The paint should be buffed out as there are two minor scuffing parts on the paint where someone tried to wax the car. It appears the gas gauge and temp gauge light up but are not working properly. All wiring is there but it will have to be sorted out with new owner.A manual with wiring diagram will go with the vehicle. I believe when vehicle was striped to metal some wiring was n't hooked back up but if knowledgeable about this area you should have no problem. I have reduced the price to affect this matter.

1954 Willys CJ3B Mahindra. R/hand drive . 4 wheel drive,3 speed +reverse manual. Vehicle was manufactured in Ohio and shipped to Mahindra Tractor firm in India where it was assembled and put into service in the Peace Corp., till 1984,where it was brought back to USA and purchased by a Jeep Dealer in NYC area. Stored for 28 years. Purchased in the Hudson area NYC,brought to Vermont where it was refreshed over a year period. New carburetor, electronic distributor,a one wire alternator installed. New Radiator and fuel pump, water pump and belt. All new brakes and brake lines and hoses. A complete 100% wiring harness was installed, new master cylinder and gauges. New rebuilt starter to complete the primary and secondary circuits. Vehicle has 5 Michelen M/S tires which came with the vehicle. The vehicle starts right up and doesn't smoke at all. Drives nicely for a vehicle that age, which means it is geared low and speeds of 35 to 40 is what it likes.(MPH). The odometer reading is not correct and I don't have a clue what the mileage is, but I was told the engine was totally rebuilt in the recent past and by the way it runs I have no doubt about it. Vehicle drives well and shifts well. The only think I can mention is third gear if you don;t have the rpms up just right you will get a very slight gear grind. After you drive it only a few miles you can learn what this vehicle wants and this will not be an issue as you can put it in without any problems. I have oil changed this several times and see no issues other than a drip here and there but see no need to change anything as this doesn't affect the vehicle or fluid levels in any way. The body is in good condition and the frame is very solid. There has been use of body filler in the vehicle and it is clear it was to cover dings and small dents it has acquired over the 60 years of it's life. I take it to car shows and drive it around and it gets attention. This vehicle was featured in Hemmings Vintage Car Mag. many years ago and I have the slides to show this. Shipping is the purchasers responsibility and I will not take part in any discussions, other than assisting anybody with the loading of the vehicle.Payment deposit through paypal,
