I've had the car listed for a higher price for a while and it's been a hassle receiving a ton of emails with various price offers and having to email back and forth with people. I thought the car was sold for $25k but his loan fell through at the last minute, so I'm renewing the ad and I'm going ahead and listing it at my bottom-line price which is $23k. Please understand that this is not an inflated price with room for negotiating, this is my non-negotiable bottom-line price. Also, I'm not interested in any type of trades at all. Car is licensed/registered in California as a '65 (with the body tag number, and not by the newer pan number) I bought the car about four years ago from the guy who did the paint and bodywork and the pan swap. When I got it I did the upgrades to wheels, suspension, engine, brakes, etc. but in the almost four years that I've had the car I've only driven it around 500 miles. . . I'm just too busy with kids, work, and my other hobbies, and the poor car just sits in the garage. I took it to the VW Classic car show last year (2015) and won best Ghia Vert. Here is a lot of info about the car: Engine: 2276cc just gone through (about 200mi ago) with new heads, bearings, exhaust, oil cooler, etc. and I had the lifter bores sleeved at that time (by Brother's Machine). Complete engine specs are listed below Trans: I don't have the exact specs on the IRS trans because it was installed by the previous owner. He told me that it is a "freeway flyer" by Rancho Brakes: Front & rear disc brakes with drilled rotors. Front calipers are 4-piston Wilwood, and the rears are generic calipers with e-brake. Dual circuit master cylinder. Steel braided hoses front & rear Wheels: Empi 17x7 chrome Fuchs style with ISP West center caps. NOTE: one of my photos shows the car with plain center caps, before I installed the ISP Porsche caps Tires: BF Goodrich G-Force Comp2. Front 205/40/17, rear 205/50/17 Front suspension: Airkewld 3" narrowed Ultimate Beam (ball joint style) with Bilstein shocks Rear suspension: To fit the wider wheels the IRS control arms have been narrowed (by Bugzyla) and it has narrower axles. No radio head unit. . . music plays directly from your phone or iPod Crow racing seat belts (front) and generic seat belts (rear) Original rear view mirror, but I removed the sun-visors because I only drive the car top down and the visors looked stupid sticking up past the windshield frame Body: The paint and body was done by the previous owner. He told me that when the body was removed to do the pan swap that it was stripped to bare metal and every spot that had rust was replaced or repaired before being painted. I have no way to verify that, I'm just passing on the info that was given to me. The paint and bodywork are by no means "show quality" but the car does look pretty good and gets a ton of attention. Every time I drive it I see people in other cars pulling out their phones and taking photos while driving, lol. The right rear fender has a scratch about three inches long and the paint is chipped with some body filler showing in that spot. The car came with a quart of the red paint that he used, so I just touched up that spot on the rear fender so that it is red, and blends in, instead of seeing the beige-ish color of the body filler. . . so that spot looks decent from like 10 feet away, but if you're up close you can see it. Obviously for mechanical stuff I can just list the parts, but for the body it's not so easy to describe because everybody has their own idea of what is nice, or perfect, or not so nice, etc. I know mechanical stuff (I was a mechanic for a living for 26 years) but to be honest I have no experience or knowledge about paint and body. Ideally I would like to sell the car to someone who can come and inspect it in person before buying, rather than someone buying it sight-unseen (I'm in Orange County, California) Convertible top: It has a new black vinyl top that the previous owner had installed before selling it to me, so the top and rear window look brand new. It also has a black canvas boot that snaps on which really looks nice and clean when the top is down. I think I've covered just about everything as best as I can remember, but if I'm forgetting something then just ask. Like I mentioned, a lot of the stuff has been done since I've owned the car, so that stuff all has less than 500 miles on it. . . stuff like wheels, tires, brakes, front beam, narrowed rear suspension, etc. I pulled out the engine (about 300 miles ago) and did a lot of upgrades, including new (expensive!) cylinder heads, new powder-coated tin, new oil cooler, I had Brother's Machine install lifter bore sleeves in the case, I replaced the bearings (cam, rods, mains), different carb linkage, etc. . . For people who have learned from experience to buy all the integrity they can get.” Backgrounder: Originally designed by Bruno Sacco, the Mercedes-Benz W126 is a series of flagship vehicles manufactured by the German automotive brand Mercedes Benz. Premiering in September 1979 as the successor to the earlier W116 line, the W126 was the second generation of the Mercedes-Benz flagship to officially bear the S-Class name referring to Sonderklasse or "special class." The W126 was initially offered in straight-6, V8, and turbo diesel sedan models. In September 1981, 2-door coupe versions (C126) of the W126 were introduced. The W126 S-Class debuted a new Mercedes-Benz design style which was subsequently used on other vehicles in the company's lineup. The W126 line also introduced many Mercedes-Benz safety innovations, including the first seatbelt pretensioners. By 1986-87, the United States economy was doing extremely well, and consumers were spending money freely on luxury items. 1986 was a record sales year for virtually all luxury carmakers foreign and domestic, including Mercedes. Honda’s Acura division was started up with great success, and Lincoln and Cadillac found the most new buyers. Copywriters may have had Honda’s upstart Acura luxury division in mind when creating the advertising text for 1987. Although Acuras had only been on the market for one year, their success could not be ignored. Readers were reminded of Mercedes-Benz’s 100-year heritage, tradition and pedigree which Acura (or any other Japanese manufacturer) could not possibly match. Tiny 1-liter-engine cars and motorcycles were Honda’s heritage – not very fitting for a luxury brand to tout. Mercedes ads began to feature more close-up pictures of their classic hood ornaments and grilles than ever. “You drive the automobile that pioneered ABS and SRS. But never has pioneered an onboard electronic gizmo”, proclaims a 1988 advertisement. Buyers were still reassured, in classic tradition, that they were buying a car of the highest engineering values. History was also touched on by, “S-class. Offered for sale is a gorgeous 1971 Chevelle SS. I bought the car a few years ago to go along with my 1970 Chevelle SS. Baby on the way, so one of them has to go to make room. I bought the car from a very reputable man in Florida who is a Chevelle aficionado. He restored the car about seven years ago and the restoration took nearly two years. Body was taken down to the bare metal where there was very little rust/ bondo to deal with. The car had been very well taken care of and never in an accident. Paint and body was done at a high-end shop in Miami and cost over $15,000 and it shows. Dupont multistage paint job- professionally wet sanded and show ready. Brand new white vinyl top is in perfect condition. Every piece of trim on this car is either new or professionally restored. All trim is free of dents and dings, polished or rechromed to perfect shine. New bumpers, 15 inch rally wheels and BFG Radial T/A's. The 350 was professionally rebuilt for just over $5k with a nice sporty cam, the transmission (T350) was overhauled, as well as the rear end. Custom mandril- bent exhaust with true X and Flowmaster 40 series mufflers… Sounds amazing. Interior is just as nice as the exterior and underside of the car. Every piece of interior has been professionally restored/ replaced. Originally a bench seat, column shift car with all new white upholstery, new door panels, headliner, everything! Spent $4K on the dash alone- all new dash, every piece.. all new gauges, lenses, steering wheel, etc. A 9.5 car inside and out. Factory AC car and it blows ice cold. Car has power windows and door locks- not sure if it came from the factory that way, but looks 100% correct. All glass is in excellent condition with no scratches or nicks. During the time I have had this car, I took it to six shows- its won it's class every time. Trailered it out to Scottsdale in March and won "Best Chevelle" and "People's Choice." The color combo is truly striking, so if you don't like people chatting your ear off at the gas station or giving you thumbs up as you drive, this is not the car for you- certainly not understated. All restoration and service on the car has been done at Sparks Performance in San Juan Capistrano, California. I've had the privilege of privately owning over 20 GM muscle cars in my life and I would dare anyone to find another 1971 Chevelle that is a better driver. Most people would only trailer this car, that's how nice it is- but I enjoy cruising in them far too much to do that. I do not have a build- sheet for this car, and it is impossible to prove it to be a real factory SS without it. However, the guy I bought it from new the original owner and he swore that it was an SS from the factory. With his extensive collection and respect in the industry, I have no reason to doubt him. However, without a build sheet, I will be offering the car at a price that would be more fitting to a very correct and outstandingly built SS tribute. There is well over $60,000 invested in this car and though selling it to make more room for a growing family is the most responsible thing to do, I'm not giving this car away. For someone who knows what this car is, appreciates quality and understands the time and money involved in a restoration of this caliber, the car is a very, very good deal. Super clean daily driver in very good condition. I am not aware of any rust issues nor is my Porsche tech. Appearance is excellent to very good. I would rate the paint job very good but not excellent as there are some small blemishes, scratches and stone chips. Most of the car has been undercoated where possible. The near new interior has never been subjected to cigar/cigarette smoke. The car is in mechanically excellent condition and runs and drives great. The seats with head rest are custom for this 912 and very comfortable for long trips. The interior is set off by a beautiful wood grain custom steering wheel. The back seats are fully functional and comfortable. New carpeting through out the car and front compartment where you will also see a new gas tank. Park it where you would like, it has an up to date alarm system and custom ignition kill switch. This is origianlly a California car from Huntington Beach. It has never been driven in inclement weather. There is a history with the 3 past owners and I with well documented receipts and service records from 1976 to 2015, which I have in a binder ready for the new owner. The vehicle was stored from 1993 to 2003 and then refurbished,rebuilt and replaced with new parts. The engine is not original matching numbered, but it has been replaced with an engine number sequence from 1967 karmann production #747474 because of prior case damage. The engine was fitted with Mahle pistons and jugs.Has been up-dated with an electric fuel pump and regulator for better reliabilty purposes. Transmission has been rebuilt by the privious 2nd owner who had most of the work done and unfortunately never had the chance to drive it much due to financial difficulties and had to sell it to Mr. Johnson the 3rd owner in which I purchased the 912 from. Mr. Johnson replaced front suspension parts and installed a new Porsche 911 Dansk spoiler front bumper and had the car painted with the Prosche Arctic Silver (Ditzer/PPG36433). It was originally red as one can tell, without checking the color code, by the small scratches on the metal dash. He also had detected a small 8"x10" soft spot under the drivers pan and had it professionally repaired/welded. Upon purchasing the vehicle in 2014 I had the 912 safety inspected and completed the suggested repairs so my wife could drive it daily. The amount was approximately $10k in repairs and replacement of parts including a new RSR Benton 0012 Performance distributor, coil, spark plug wires, generator/regulator,complete rear axles,steel braided brake lines, pads,rebuilt calipers,O/H carbs,motor and transmission mounts,Custom Bursch tuned steel pack exhust system,all dash bulbs, flashers repaired, all dash gauges and clock functional,and new battery. I just had it fully serviced in May of this year and it has new Michelin Premier tires. I would like for the new owner to inspect and pick the car up. Perhaps a $1000 PayPal deposit in my PayPal acccount or a secured purchase bank escrow account in which the buyer and I can have complete safety and reasurance with the purchase.

1996 Honda Civic 4 Door Sedan, Runs Great and Air Conditioning Blows Cold We are the second owners. The car has a clean title and has never been in an accident. It has been well maintained. Over the last year we have installed a new alternator, new serpentine belts, new oxygen sensor, and new rear axle. Battery was replaced and air conditioning recharged in the last 2 years. All windows have been tinted including a top strip on the windshield. Includes Pioneer 6-CD player installed in the trunk. The following lists represents all of the known issues: - Has various minor dings, scratches and wear - Driver's sun visor is ripped in several places (see picture) - Automatic door locking mechanism does not function reliably. Doors must be locked manually. - Air conditioning blows cold, but only Levels 3 and 4 work. Lower settings "1" and "2" do not work - Vent settings do not match the pictures on the switches. For instance, if you set it to the feet vents it blows out the defrost vents instead. They are all jumbled up. - Installed Clifford car alarm does not work
