This car is in good condition overall and I own it since day one. There are some minor visible dents, scratches and wear and a couple of small cracks on the exteriors. ABS light is on (orange). Not sure what causes it since I never happen to use it at all. The engine light is on (orange). My mechanical told me it was the radiator sensor connecting to the engine got loose. But I am still driving my car everyday to work, 20 miles each way, with no issue at all. Front row leather seats are worn and torn due to its age. A/C works in a cooler days only? Sun roof will need some repair and maintenance to get it open. Other than these, no other noticeable problems. I have a fairly new pioneer CD/stereo head connecting to the original 7-channel speaker system. Other than the front row seats, all interiors are in very clean and great condition. When the vehicle is sold, seller and buyer will equally share the title transfer and DMV registration fee. Buyer may request a smog check certificate. However, the buyer will pay for the full cost of smog check up front. If the buyer decides to proceed the purchase, half of the smog check cost will be refunded to the buyer after the vehicle has been transferred and registered under the buyers name. Practically one-owner, been in the family since new. All stock. 273K and going. My daily driver.
Good: I have complete history of car. Clutch and front axles at 250K. Battery, Alternator, Bushings 2 years ago. AC cold. 45+mpg (I drive gently, mostly hwy). Never failed smog other than gas cap change. No accidents. Master cylinder a few years back.
Bad: Oil leaks into spark plug chamber(This needs a oring/ gasket job). I've lived with it the last 5 or so years. Timing belt due soon. In heavy rain, leaks into trunk/windshield. The turn signal has to be wiggled to signal. Rattling and squeaking, more as the years go on. The air cylinder holding up the trunk is dead. The temperature knob is broken (I will supply hemostat to be able to turn it).
Ugly: Original seat covers torn. Body has little rust on corners. Dings, dents and scrapes. Muffler is damaged (been like this for years). Driver door hinge area(the part that keeps it open is cracked). Dash has crack. Generally dirty after 24 years. BB hole in driver headlight(for years).
I would keep this forever, but my wife wants it gone so I told her only if someone pays $3000. In two years I can make that much in gas savings alone. Price is firm. Not in hurry to sell.
