Up for sale is my 2008 528i BMW... I purchased this vehicle used from a franchised dealer in July of this year as a replacement road car for my Suburban, and an attempt to own a fuel efficient vehicle. The one and only reason that I am selling is the fact that it is too small for me and I am going back to an SUV. Upon researching the car before purchased, I found the first owner had the vehicle as a lease and then purchased. One of the reasons I chose this particular BMW was that the previous owner had completed the 100k service at around 98k, and I purchased the vehicle with 103900. The parking assist will show a malfunction every now and then, but I am scheduled for an oil change at the BMW dealership and they are scheduled to check out the PDC system. I am selling my sister in laws BMW for her. Please contact me with any questions and I will make every effort to answer or get answers. The car runs and drives perfectly. It does have a few issues. It idles a little rough when first started if it has been sitting for a few days. It does clear up quickly but I felt it should be mentioned. There are also a few lights on on the dash. There is an airbag light and a service engine soon lit up. The car has been in an accident and she thought it received a salvage title. I have the title in hand and it does not say anything about being a salvage vehicle. I don't know if that will appear when the new owner registers it. The car is fun and quick. it handles well and the interior looks very good for an 11 year old car. The car comes with 2 keys/fobs. This may not seem like a big deal, but if you every had to buy a key for one of these you would understand. The last one I purchased was almost $150. Garage kept, very clean in and out, sport suspension, low profile tires in excellent condition,runs great and has all the 2004 options. The car belonged to my daughter who has passed away. She was the second owner. She bought the car from a Doctor when it was several years old. My wife and I are raising our daughters teenage children and the sale proceeds are needed for them. The only thing I can find wrong with the car is the screen indicates that there is an airbag malfunction.

The 540i features an incredible look thanks in part to a recent extensive paint job that covered the body in a fresh coat of the correct Sterling Gray Metallic paint. At the front of the body you have the instantly recognizable signature split grill at the front, resting below the famous BMW logo on the hood. Quad headlights flank the grille while fog lights rest below. On the hood and down the sides of the car you have accent lines in the body that give it an aggressive look for a 4-door. At the back of the car you'll find 540i badging and another blue and white BMW logo above the rear bumper. The 5-series engine lineup for 2002 included two variants of an inline-six cylinder. For those that needed more power under their right foot, the top of the line 5-series meant the inclusion of a 290hp 4.4L DOHC V8 32v. Pop the hood and you'll see the engine bay that has been stuffed with the BMW V8. The engine might only be just over 268 cubic inches, but thanks in part to the BMW valve covers and intake cover it has the appearance of a big block that has been slammed in the engine bay. The 540i is capable of a 0-60 time of 6.2 seconds and could achieve a top speed of 155mph. As with most BMW's, the underside of the vehicle is just as impressive as the rest of the car. The 540i features front and rear independent suspension and bolted to the 4.4L is the original 5-speed automatic Steptronic transmission that allows for automatic or manually selected gear changes. Stopping power comes courtesy of 4-wheel ventilated ABS disc brakes that are equipped with electronic brake assistance. The sport package also meant the inclusion of staggered 17x8 front and 17x9 rear alloy 5-spoke BMW rims that have been wrapped in Sumitomo tread. Sure BMW's feature power, but their luxurious interior is what keeps people coming back for more. This 540i features a black leather interior that shows little to no signs of wear. The interior is accented by a genuine wood grain trim that can be seen throughout the car. In front of the driver is a 3 spoke, M sport leather steering wheel, and beyond that a standard instrument cluster. Both front seats have multi-adjustable power seats that allow for the passengers to find the ideal comfort setting, and not to mention separate climate controls. In front of the shifter sits the dual climate controls and the hideaway CD player. Behind the front seats is an additional bench seat capable of comfortably hauling three more passengers.
