1967 Classic Austin FX4 otherwise known as a London Taxi Whitewall wheels, suicide doors, stick shift, diesel engine, great condition, fits 5 people, right-hand drive. *Registered in CA (has not been registered since 2016) DOES NOT RUN. It broke down after being used for an art event. We were able to jump start it to get home and it has not run since. We have been unable to find somebody that specializes in Diesel engines and knows the ins and outs of a foreign car. If you know about cars and would like a great marketing vehicle then this is for you. We used to use the car for events etc and the car would come with the domain name, FB page and contact list, email address and contacts of all inquiries. contWe also have a box with all the car paperwork, receipts of work done, spare bulbs, where to purchase parts, disc of car (great for a mechanic)

I have a 1989 (fairway) austin taxi (LTI) used by the British taxi service in the late 80's to the early 00's. This particular model is very rare, you will not be able to find another one in this condition with all the bell's and whistles. this Nissan 2.7 Litre Bullet-Proof Diesel Engine, will last more than 1,000,000 miles (Thats right ONE MILLION MILES!!!) It's the most reliable engine you can get!! it averages 25-30 mpg which made this taxi the best FX4 ever built!! the last production of these taxi's ended in 1997 and slowly started to be harder and harder to find. In 2008 newer model taxi's were made and they started to scrap the last of the FX4'S. Thats why these are so difficult to find especially in this condition with all the stock upgrades. this was the first year they started making them wheel chair accessible which makes the six place back seat bigger than the original model ( I'am 6'4 and can sit straight up in the back seat!) It has the original ads, fare sign, suicide doors, FM and cassette player but has wiring problem. Has new tires with less than 1,000 miles on them, power steering, 3 power windows and 1 manual,all new hoses/belts, the upholstery is immaculate!! it has a 25 ft turning radius (that is really sharp). It's 4.56 meters long (14 ft), 1.75 meters wide (6 ft) and 1.765 meters high (6 ft). This is a awesome advertising vehicle, Great for weddings and even a prom.
