I’m listing this rare vehicle for a friend. Austin FX4, Austin London Taxicab, titled as 1965 but more likely a 1969/1970, with approximately 45,000 miles on the replacement engine. Jaguar Yellow/ Green exterior, Black interior, Chevy Vortec V6 Engine, Automatic Transmission, radio AM/FM/CD, Air conditioning. Vehicle Condition: You are bidding on an Austin 1969 (Registered in the US as 1965) in great condition inside and out. Car is currently registered and insured in California. Body: no rust, no dents. Glass in very good shape. Paint: Car was painted 10 years ago and still has a hyper glossy British green paint. Paint looks very good and extremely shiny all around; vehicle has been painted with DuPont Chroma base paint and clear coat (label with paint type & code and a quart of paint is included) then wet sanded and polished. The car was stripped completely when painted. Weather-stripping: Most of the door and trunk seals look new. Seals surrounding the front window vents look old but they still do the job. Windshield and rear glass seals look like new. Some window weather stripping in need of replacement. Instruments and Warning lights: All in perfect working condition. All external lights, turn signals, hazard lights, high beams, instrument cluster lights in good working condition. Speedometer and odometer are working fine. Climate Control: Air conditioning blows cold but in hot days lower temperature air is needed to cool the vehicle nicely. A Freon recharge will help. Heater works fine. Interior: Vinyl seats in excellent shape, carpet in excellent shape, Headliner in excellent shape, dashboard in excellent shape, center console in excellent shape, door panels in very good shape. This is a non-smoker vehicle! Headliner: in excellent shape Sound System: Phase Linear brand with CD player and removable face. Speakers only on front doors. Miscellaneous: Jack and wrench included. Haynes service manual for engine and Austin service manual for rest of vehicle are included. Exterior: Chrome bumpers and bumper moldings in very good shape (lights and plastics in very good shape with no fading or cracking). Wheels: Original steel wheels in excellent shape structurally and cosmetically. No curb damage. Tires: tires with plenty of thread left (+60%) in four corners. Spare tire in very good shape. Engine: 3.0 Chevy Blazer Vortec V6 engine in very good condition with just 45,000 miles. Always starts at the first turn, idles smooth, runs great and extremely powerful, doesn’t burn or take any oil. No leaks. There is a squealing noise coming from the belt tensioner. Automatic Transmission: Transmission is the original match for the Vortec engine. Excellent, Shifts smooth and precise, Fluid is Crystal Clear. No noises or weird sounds!! No leaks!! Recently serviced. Suspension and Steering: Excellent ride, feels very solid. Steering has some play (I believe can be manually adjusted from the steering box but have not tried). Also there is a small leak from its bottom seal. When doing a slow sharp turn sometimes you can hear a cracking noise from one of the suspension bushings. Front sub frame bushings look kind of dry but they are pretty solid. Brakes: Good condition. Car stops straight with absolutely no vibrations or noises. Power brakes with double circuit. Brake drums in four corners. Restoration and Modifications: - Chevy Blazer V6 Vortec engine with accompanying automatic tranny – powerful! - Edelbrock manifold and Holley 4160 4-barrel carb - Proform 67080 distributor - New plug wires - Carter GP4594 electric fuel pump - Lokar throttle cable - New aluminum radiator - Rear end gears of 4.00 to replace the 5.00 ones - Rebuilt front end - Top-of-the-line radial tires - Added seat belts, dual exhausts, and some "mellow" mufflers - Upgraded to power brakes using a thru firewall pedal assembly 5303701 from Kugel Komponents, and reworked the firewall to fit an Old Air Products MPC-1100 Heat/Air Conditioning unit; an extra cooling fan sits in front of the condenser, with dash-mounted on/off switch - Lucas wiring was replaced with a universal wiring harness from Summit Engineering; interior has an Autometer full gauge set - Phase Linear CD1211 AM/FM/CD stereo with front door-mounted speakers - Console and gear shift are from the Blazer - Flat, walnut veneer dash crafted to install the HVAC vents and controls, radio, etc., and is easily lowered with just two screws for easy access to wiring - Universal turn signal switch with hazard arm installed - New Wilton carpet in rear Issues: Paint: it is wrinkled at the top of the front grille, front doors are chipped by the front edge, rear left door has a paint bubble of about an inch diameter. If you look at the rear door when light is reflecting there is a long vertical line (about 7” long) that looks like a ding mark. There are some hairline cracks on top of the rear fenders where they sit on the body (I believe the sealer in between cracked over the years). The trunk has some hairline cracks and blemishes. Roof has one or two blemishes. Sunroof does not leak because it has been sealed with silicone sealer or similar that cosmetically does not look very good. Air vent door by the windshield have been sealed and cannot be opened. Windshield washers are sealed and are not operational. I believe all that sealing has been done to avoid a leak that occurs when exposed to rain. Windows have light streaked patina, with most noticeable on front windshield. Right rear window lock not operating properly. Interior heat not routed properly, at least in front. Turn signal indicator is intermittently temperamental. Rubber boot around gear shift needs to be glued down. Rear passenger seat has two seams in need of a tiny bit of re-stitching. Extra, driver door-mounted mirror is useless and s/b removed. Car History: The description above is based on the mechanic’s inspection and comments, and by observing and noting every single feature and defect on this car. You will NOT be disappointed with this vehicle! Don't hesitate to email me, I'll be glad to answer any questions regarding this vehicle. You are welcome to see and test drive the car during the auction. This 46 year old jewel drives excellent, looks nice and needs virtually nothing!! I describe the vehicle as accurately as possible; however there is no way possible to know everything about a vehicle that has been previously driven subjected to normal wear and tear, both cosmetically and mechanically. (Unable to run Carfax report due to vehicle age). Must have the funds available before bidding. Thanks for looking and Happy bidding !!!!!!!!! Terms of Sale: Vehicle is sold as is. No warranty. Balance due within 7 days and payable in cash, cashiers check, or wire transfer. Wire transfer preferred. Note: Cashiers checks usually take longer to clear (California banks place up to 10 days hold on out of state cashiers checks due to fraud protection policies). Car will be released once funds clear in my account. Shipping: Buyer has to make all arrangements with the carrier. I don't provide shipping estimates but I can email you a list of carriers you can call to get shipping quotes.

I found this Mini online from a collector North of London, UK. He owned about 40 cars, all covered and in heated garage. He told me that this car had not been in the rain for 17 years. The car resembles a regular Mini but from the windshield forward it is an up-dated design for the youth market of the time. It is for purposes a "Mini Cooper S" with the same 1275 engine & manual 4 speed trans. The design is like the Riley Elf and was not shipped out of the UK, so it's rare. There is no rust at all. The engine bay was sprayed with undercoating to keep it from rust, and might have been done when new. I was told the car was re-sprayed the original color of Citron Yellow throughout. I had the car trucked from the owner near London to the port of Felixstoe, then put into a 40' container and shipped to the port in Los Angeles. It was then trucked through customs and brought to my home in Murrieta, CA on Hwy.15 one hour north of San Diego. There are another set of Minilites and some bits the owner through in (2 Manuals). The car is it's original RHD but can easily converted to LHD as I was told. I am selling due to health and my 83 year old Mom won't get in it. It has been driven once in our community and the engine is strong. I just need to sell it was $14,750..now asking $10,000 firm.

Happy Holidays. Just in time for father's day. Give yourself and your family a smile with this car. Here is my Austin Countryman Woody. This is a Mk1 1963 Mini with 850 engine and flat roof. Sliding windows and external door hinges. These are very rare. This one is in excellent condition. The interior is basically new having been replaced when I bought the car (and I drive it only rarely). So the inside looks new. The Wood looks great. Overall the car is in a amazing condition. The White (slightly cream color) exterior paint is smooth and looks very good but does have a few small blemishes. (It is not the best paint job imaginable but it is very presentable and from a couple of feet away looks excellent). Mostly small imperfections visible only from close. Come see the car for yourself. It is very nice. The car has installed seat belt. I even put my daughter's baby seat in this car. The car runs strong and can easily be a daily driver. It starts right up. It is really fun to drive. And it is fast enough to go on the freeway but I have not really pushed past 60mph. Lights, blinkers etc all work. The speedo (or the speedo cable) that was installed is wrong so although the speedo needle moves when accelerating, it seems to overestimate the speed. I think the speedo was designed for a different speedo cable and doesn't have the right ratio. No big seal. It needle moves and when it says 80 mph you know you are not going at 80 ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fCcMPRjM_k&list=UUw7cXEbqPGQ6fFphzf2EC5A The front brakes were upgraded to dual leading shoe so it brakes better than the normal 1963. The color combo is the nicest they ever made. You will not be disappointed with this car, as even the paint, which I criticized as not perfect, is still pretty damn good. Don't ask me if the car had bondo etc... I have no idea. I dont see any rust. Car is garaged in Los Angeles. I bought the car basically in this condition about 10 years ago and loved it every time I took it out for a spin. Unfortunately not used often enough to keep it and with my daughter in High School it's time to sell some stuff. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or want to see the car in person. Sold as-is of course for a classic car . It is extremely nice with just enough little imperfections that you wont worry too much about driving it around.

1969 Morris Traveller w/Fiat 1800cc twin cam The Morris Minor was released to critical acclaim at the Earls Court Motor Show in 1948. Designed under the leadership of Alec Issigonis of Mini fame, more than 1.3 million were manufactured between 1948 and 1972. Initially available as a two-door sedan and convertible, the hugely successful car’s range was subsequently expanded to include a four-door saloon, panel van, pick-up truck, and a wood-framed station wagon, or estate, the Traveller. The Traveller featured an external wooden structural frame, in ash, for the rear bodywork, with two side-hinged rear doors. The frame was varnished rather than painted and a highly visible feature of the body style, similar to the American “Woodie” from most of the U.S. manufacturers. The car offered here is a bit of a sleeper, however. The A-series 1098cc engine has been replaced with an 1800cc twin-cam engine from a Fiat 124, together with the 5-speed manual gearbox. In standard trim, the Traveller could boast 48bhp. Now, this diminutive British icon produces 116 bhp, propelling the car with far more modern performance figures. It’s a blast and sounds the part too! The professionally performed engine swap was undertaken several years ago, with great attention to detail, including Morris-badged cam covers. The exhaust is routed through a twin box system to deliver a nice, throaty sound, and disc brakes at all 4 corners are served by a booster for modern stopping power. Suspension upgrades include converted tube shocks and thick front and rear sway bars for great handling. The build included a full rewire of the electrical system with modern style fuse and relay panel, a great improvement over the original Lucas system. The engine starts easily, idles well and has great responsive power. The clutch is excellent, and the car shifts well, though 3rd gear synchro is a little weak. Brakes, suspension and steering are great. The wheels are scuff-free and shod with good tires with plenty of tread remaining. To ready the car for sale, it has just been fully serviced and a new battery installed. The interior is in good condition. The freshly restored reclining bucket seats are a departure from the original, as is the Mountney steering wheel. A full array of gauges, including ammeter, tachometer, and oil and water temperature, have been nicely installed behind the steering wheel, complimenting the center speedometer. The pedals are top-hung - a very nice upgrade – and the green light on the end of the indicator stalk is fully functional. The original door panels are in good condition, as is the rear seat. The carpet is in perfectly reasonable condition. Paint and body on the car are fair to good. The all-important wood is in good, solid condition. Subject to an older repaint, it is showing wear, though the finish is consistent. There is no evidence of accident damage or repair. The body is generally rust-free, but the bottom of the door’s outer surface is showing some rust bubbling through. The floors, sills, and rear wheel tubs are solid as well as all other panels. There is rust in the rear valance, though it looks to be an easy repair. It could be a rolling restoration – drive it as is, or restore it as you go. All in all, this is a fantastically fun bit of iconic British design with the heart of an Italian sportscar. How can that not be a blast to own and drive. It gets waves and appreciation everywhere it goes, with a little surprise under the hood.

1955 AUSTIN HEALEY 100-4 BN-1 TWO-SEATER SPORTS ROADSTER. 3-SPEED WITH OVERDRIVE. WIRE WHEELS. CA BLACK LICENSE PLATE. ORIGINAL COLORS: OLDE ENGLISH WHITE WITH GREEN TRIM. VIN # BN1-L 225506BODY # 5267 / 8769ENG # 1B225506M Up for auction, here on Ebay, from KURT TANNER RESTORATIONS, is a 1955 Austin Healey 100-4 for restoration. This car was discovered in the San Francisco bay area after being stored since 1970, and now awaits a full restoration. Original factory color scheme appears to be Olde English White with Green trim. The trunk has some remnants of the original green Armacord. It is fitted with it's original 3-speed with overdrive gearbox and correct matching numbers drivetrain with the matching engine tag. It also still has it's correct VIN plate and body tag still attached to the firewall. The engine is stuck from sitting and would most likely need rebuilding. There are a few items missing on the car which are available new and some used. Please look at the photos of the loose parts, which are all included in the sale of the car. The car would need a bumper set, 2 overriders, an exhaust manifold, windshield glass, thermostat cover, 1 air cleaner, and some other misc. parts. The instruments (partially apart) and dashboard switches are in a box. There is a decent box of parts that came with the car including the wiper motor, fuel pump, body fittings, etc. The car includes some very hard to find items such as the softtop frame, complete windshield assembly, a decent set of seats, etc. The LH door and hood are currently not attached to the car. The car is fitted with an earlier alloy hood that has had some louvers installed. The frame appears generally solid with it's usual dings and dents, but after sandblasting could reveal some additional areas for repair. At one point, the car sustained damage to the RH chassis leg and fender bowl, which would need correcting/straightening during the restoration. There is some rust around the front of the RH leg, but seems localized to that area. Floors and trunk floor are original but scaly with some rust-through, and would also need repair, which is typical for a Healey of this era. Most of the outriggers appear reasonable. In general, the car needs a ground up restoration as any 60-year old Healey probably does that has been sitting all this time. But the end result is worthwhile, as the 100-4 model is becoming increasingly desirable as of late for its character, great looks, and simplicity. This car is located in Southern California and can be shown by appointment. It is sold with a current CA title. KURT TANNER RESTORATIONS. 909-920-9221, work. 909-241-1051, cell.
