Bought it rebuilt and registered in 2010 with 70K miles -- and in the 5-6 years I've owned it I've added about another 60K miles. I've had NO MECHANICAL FAILURES in the 6 years I've owned it until recently when transmission started acting weird, still driveable. It may be electrical issue since when I shut off the car, it starts and drives fine again. I have a mechanic that will replace trans for 350 labor and 1700 rebuilt trans yet I do not want to invest since I am in process of buying other car. Great car for someone who knows how to fix trans sensor electrical problems since engine still runs strong. Has been regularly maintained. Has VALID INSPECTION STICKER up until JUNE 2017. Wheel alignment was done about 6 months ago. Had a full tune-up about 3 months ago, coils and spark plugs were replaced. All four rotors plus new brakes were changed a 3 months ago. Replaced old faded headlights to new clear ones. Tire thread still good for 5-6 months; alloy wheels with balanced tires. SPECS: 6 cylinder SOHC 3.2L 5-speed automatic with manual option. Front wheel drive. The car is strong - 258 horsepower. Interior is clean grey leather. Front, Rear and Side-mounted airbags, Heated driver and passenger bucket seats. There are no rips, just usual leather weathering and wrinkling. One owner car that I acquired because it had a bad transmission. I had the transmission fully rebuilt (by the same individual that rebuild the transmission in the car that I drive every day). New clutches, new filter, new torque converter. Clean autocheck Although the car has 170K miles on it, you would never know it without looking at the odometer. It is pretty clean inside, leather is in good condition (small wear spot on drivers seat), and everything works. Cold A/C Power Sunroof Power windows Power locks Leather interior Engine runs very well. The weakest part of the Hondas and Acuras is the transmission, and now that this one has a rebuilt transmission, it should be good for many more miles. This is a very solid car that was used for commuting. The original owner said that the water pump and timing belt were changed on time at around 100K miles and that all brakes and rotors were done 3 years ago at @140-150K miles. The tires are brand new Firestone tires. Come out and take a look at it if you have any concerns. I might be able to help with delivery for a small fee (but please ask first)

I am the second owner of this vehicle.For full Specs and Features on this car go here: edmunds acura/tl/2004/st-100358503/features-specs/I have changed a lot of things in this car, Timing belt, water pump, drive belt, seat belt buckles, battery, pads, rotors, spark plugs, struts, cold air intake, thermostat, radiator, rear main seal, clutch. I added an iPhone/pod/pad 30 pin connector with text interface. I added a subwoofer with an amp and a separate amp for the rear speakers. I replaced the transmission fluid for synchromesh to protect the transmission. The car had the 3rd gear issue, but after I started using the synchromesh it has no longer been an issue. The car was in an accident that forced me to change the hood, the bumper, radiator support and the radiator, and left fender. I have driven the car for 3 years since then with no residual problems from that 15 mph accident. As you can appreciate the interior shows wear and tear, normal of a car with this amount of miles. Mechanically the car is in good condition. It is my daily driver to the train station and back. I planned on taking this car to Florida this summer. I trust this car and the work that has been done to it. The car is being sold AS IS with no warranties implied or written. Bring your mechanic. I have a clean title in hand ready to sign it off to the correct buyer.
