I have a 2014 Acura RDX Technology. It is a fully loaded car with leather seats, Navigation, back-up camera, keyless entry and keyless start. The car is clean. It has 39000 miles on it. The car has a salvage title due to recovered theft. It is salvage because it is a Theft Recovery Vehicle. By law if the vehicle is stolen the Insurance Company has 30 days to pay the owner of the vehicle the value of the car. If the vehicle gets recovered it is given to the Insurance Company. Since Insurance Company has already paid out the full cost of the vehicle to the previous owner it has to be marked as a total loss, even if the vehicle is recovered in a perfect condition without any damage.It is in good condition still looks new.
