This is a high-mileage 2006 Audi A3 Sportback in the rare and hard-to-find six-speed manual transmission. My girlfriend needed a car to commute back-and-forth between Brooklyn and NJ, so we picked this up and it has been amazing since purchase. She works from home now, so the car is up for sale as the parking restrictions where we live are insane ($250-300/mo for a parking spot or crazy alternate side street parking rules, etc.). Our other cars are motorcycles! It's a high-mileage car, so should ideally be driven with some care. If you want to street race or drop people off the line, this car will do it but probably not for very long. Spend more money on something else. But drive this car properly and responsibly like it should be driven, and it will serve you well for a long time with a very small outlay of money. This car is basically a VW GTI with more premium everything, it's loaded: leather surfaces everywhere; a huge front power moonroof, fixed rear glass sunroof (Open Sky System); awesome stereo to which I've added a Bluetooth Grom system so it syncs up with your phone for music and phone calls and also takes advantage of OEM controls so you can skip to the next Pandora track or Music app track right from the steering wheel!; heated seats; power driver's seat; 17" alloy wheels; rear window wiper/washer; air conditioning works perfectly; electronic stability control works perfect, and can be disabled for more aggressive driving, if that's your thing. We've also debadged the back liftgate to clean up the look of the car. That's the only "customizing" we've done to the car. Being a high-mileage car, there are some things the future owner should know about: •there are some minor rips and tears in the driver's seat, and other leather surfaces show some wear •the exterior has various small imperfections, most of which have been touched up, but are still visible •there's a dent on the driver's side door near the handle, and a slight dent and some scrapes along the front driver's side wheel well •the driver's side door mirror is cracked (I've ordered a replacement and it's on the way) •the plastic inserts around the fog lights are missing (one came loose so I removed both of them, I prefer the look, actually) •car is due for new spark plugs, ignition coils and a cam follower (I just bought all of these parts new from ECS Tuning, will be installing very soon) •driver's side window goes down but does not like going back up (I have replacement door controls for driver's side, should fix this problem) •passenger's side window goes up and down from passenger's controls, but does not go up with driver's side controls (I have replacement door controls for driver's side, should fix this problem) •the farthest outside brake light bulb on the passenger's side has burnt out, this shows up on the dashboard as needing replacement (I have replacement bulb, just haven't done it yet) •the car seems to be burning a little oil, pretty normal for a high-mileage car, I just keep up with oil changes and keep a quart in the trunk to top it off occasionally (just check it every 1–2K miles) That's about it. The engine pulls strong. The transmission is perfection, shifts wonderfully, very satisfying car to drive. Handles like a dream, you can easily hit 70mph around on- and off-ramps. Again, treat the engine with care upon acceleration, do not redline it, and you're good to go. Please come by to check the car out in-person, I'll take you for a drive. My plan is to perform all of the fixes I've mentioned above before you take delivery of the car. So if you commit to buying it, I'll do them all ASAP, otherwise will try to get to them within the next week. Feel free to contact me to see the car, or with any questions you may have. I've set the asking price at what I feel is very fair taking into account its minor imperfections and high-mileage. But I do have a little room to budge, so don't be shy, send me an offer. We can counter back-and-forth if necessary and arrive at a number we're both happy with. If you commit to buying it and taking delivery on or before Sept 30, I'll take $250 off the purchase price, as that's what's due to park the car in our garage for another month starting Oct 1.
