1961 VOLKSWAGEN CONVERTIBLE Beautiful ! Full Pan Off Restoration ! Every part on the Bug has been touched ! Nothing has been missed ! This Bug has a Victory Red paint job with a tan interior and a beautiful tan canvas top. When the restoration was done this bug was taken down to bare metal. Everything is new or has been refurbished to like new condition.The motor is a 1641 set up with dual carbs and a Freeway Flyer transmission. It has been lowered in the front and has disc brakes as well. All of the lights, gauges, wipers work ! It purrs down the street nice and straight and solid. Only about 1000 miles since restored. No issues at all. The tires,rims,chrome, interior, top, paint, wiring, rubber seals, suspension, brakes, lights, lenses, etc has all been replaced and is brand new. Underneath is nice and clean as well. I am selling this bug for a friend who has about 40 cars in his collection he is going to be selling this year. He is not a dealer just a collector who is downsizing. Why pay high dealer fees and taxes ? This bug is sold as-is. Clear title. The car will not be released until all funds have cleared the bank. Hello ! Up for sale today is a Very Cool 1963 VW Bug Convertible Classic ! I am listing this for a friend who is downsizing. He will have many more cars up for sale soon. It is Burgundy with a Gray interior. It starts right up and runs great. The lights and gauges function as well. The top is in excellent shape and so is the interior. The chrome is driver quality but goes well with the nice patina that the paint has. I would say the paint is a 20 footer. It has some scratches and nicks but you don't really see them until you get close to it. The glass looks good. All the windows roll up and down. The top folds down with no problems. The body looks like it is mostly solid but if you look underneath it looks like the floor pans have had work. This VW in is great shape for being over 50 years old and it really goes down the road nice. It is a vehicle you can enjoy and put to use as well. This VW is sold AS-IS. Overseas buyers are welcome.
