1972 VW Super Beetle, 43,625 certified miles, 2nd owner. All original - not restored. Interior and exterior immaculate. Seats and carpets look brand new even though they are original. Owned for 40 years by elderly couple in Pennsylvania then moved to Florida. Always garaged. Absolutely perfect original condition. Not a bit of rust anywhere. Only thing updated was the radio. Original nonworking radio included. Must see to be believed. This is truly a one of a kind vehicle that is both collectable and driveable. It turns heads every time I drive it. It is clean and looks very sharp. This VW was just serviced at O'Steen VW in Jacksonville Florida. Like any car that has been driven and used as a commuter car, it does have its share of very minor sand blasting/road chips on the nose from the highway. There are a few minor chips and dings on the body, but is overall very clean a well maintained car. There is some very minor wear as one would expect from a 6 year old 100K mile car and any areas noted are pictured below. I just spent over $1500.00 at O'SteenVW to make her perfect. No money will have to be spent on this Jetta. It looks, runs, drives and shifts very well. The new owner will not have to spend any money on this VW. It is clean and looks sharp with its special Thunder Bunny Front and Rear Bumpers, a $2300.00 Option. The factory VW Wheels were just professionally painted black and it was just serviced at O'Steen VW in Jacksonville Florida. Like any car that has been driven and used as a commuter car, it does have its share of very minor sand blasting/road chips on the nose from the highway. There are 3 stone chips on the windshield, but it retains its factory VW glass. The body is virtually perfect with the exception of minor road chips and some touch ups. All the paint and panels are original from the factory. The Lower front bumper has a crack as pictured and a couple flaws due to age and wear. There is some very minor wear as one would expect from a 6 year old 100K mile car and any areas noted are pictured below. It looks, runs, drives and shifts very well. Because of that there is a discrepancy in the Black Book private party used car valuation. You'll notice a price range of $31-$35K. Given similar used models are being sold at dealerships for $45-$49K, there's an issue in the valuation model used in Black Book due to exclusivity of the car model and lack of private party inventory.For better estimates please look at other R-Line vehicles for sale from dealerships.
