The second-row seat is split 40/20/40, offering easy access to the third row, as well as the ability to customize the cargo area for long or odd-sized cargo. You can comfortably seat 7, and it gets great gas mileage (21 MPG highway!). I have meticuously maintained the car as a nonsmoker, and runs great. Please note that there are two typical service items for the XC90 that I never got done - one is the "anti skid service required" (the ABS works fine) and the other is the "headlamp failure service required" because the Xenon headlights work fine on low beam. All other mechanical items on the car works great. I am selling the SUV because we are having a baby and are looking for a new car. This XC90 is a great SUV with lots of seating capacity and all the important options. The one thing the stock XC90 missed was an AUX or iPOD interface, so I had the Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD stereo head unit with Infinity amplifier installed for outstanding sound, AUX and iPOD connections that even plays DVD and MP3 music on an SD card.
