This is vintage, 1967 VW Beetle. It is really a beautiful car and is in fantastic shape! It runs well and has been fully restored. It has a beautiful, red interior and white wall tires. It also has that nice VW smell which only a VW lover will know what I am talking about.I am selling the car because I am not driving it as much as I should and I also have a young child that cannot ride in the car. It would be great to see it go to a home that loves it and appreciates it as much as I do.

1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle - Lost but not forgotten - They are only original once ! This car has recently been revived after some years of not being on the road. Showing 74K+ on the odometer. I have no records but I think you will agree when you see the car the milage is true. Original interior down to the carpet and glovebox. Drivers side seat has tear at the top and the passener side a smaller one in the same area. The carpet is in good condition with a some blemishs and it's original. The headliner is good with minor imperfections and is original. Missing the rear deforst vents but the no longer make them so I haven't been able to find a pair. They are specific to 1971-72 Super Beetles. The car still has the factory paper cover under the seat to protect the regulators (you never see that) The doors open and close like brand new.This car has never been wrecked all original fenders and body. Floor pans are original and you can see the black factory paint on them where the undercoating is flaking. They are amazing. One tiny pea sized hole under the battery. No body rust and only minor surface spots and small paint inperfections. This car has had one repaint some time ago and the paint shines really nice. I would rate the paint an 7.5 of 10 and only because of a few minor imperfections that could be easily repaired to be made close to perfect. It's a sand tan-ish color. It has a place on the hood where the VW emblem is that has some paint flaked off with a few bubbles. No dents ! One little ding on rear fender but you have to look for it. The motor and tranmission are all original - Runs and drives really well. I've been driving it around town and haven't had any issues. I just put a brand new Solex 30/31 Pict carb on the car and it runs very well. Drives straight and stops well. The transmisson shifts smooth and doesn't pop out of any gears.The following parts have all been installed in the last 3 weeks :- Four brand new Nexen Tires-Brand New Solex 30/31 Pict Carb - NEW not rebuilt - New Starter, Battery, Fuel Pump, Points, Plugs Wires, Cap, Oil, - Complete Brake overhaul - New Cylinders, Shoes, Hoses, Brake Switchs. everything replaced except master cylinder. - New Wiper Blades, Turn Signal and Tail light Seals - All fender wells have been undercoatedAll Lights, Turn Signals and Brake Lights work. Speedometer and Gas guague work as well. The horn works as well. $5600.00 obo - Bill of Sale. No Title. No trades. This car is so much fun to drive! This Beetle has been in my family since 1993. Colorado for 10 years, 7 in Birmingham, and now Atlanta. I have a Colorado Title in hand and bill of sales from family members. ( You only needed a bill of sale to register the car here in Georgia, as I did)I am selling the Beetle because I have enjoyed this Beetle for a long time and now its someone elses turn. I drive it on weekends to the park, to get groceries, and occasionally will take it to work on a nice day. My wife used to commute in this car a few years ago, so it is reliable. Ideal for your in town errands. Notable comments on this Beetle:It was repainted and restored before my uncle bought it in 1993. It was repainted in the original color. The interior still has the original paint. The car hasn't been in any major wrecks. Very minimal rust on this car. There is some under the battery and other small places, nothing major compared to most Bugs or in need of immediate fix. There are various dents and some very minor damage to rear body panel near exhaust. Overall this is a very HONEST, original car. The top is in fair condition, it was replaced back in 93 with the restoration, so its showing some age. It could use a new top if you are looking to use this car daily and in the rain. Ive kept it in my garage since I've had it. Beetle starts up fine, but will stall a until its warm (2 minutes), then it idles fine. I usually heel/toe until it gets warm. Service Records:3/15/2015 Replaced front wheel cylinders and brake lines. New speakers. New Sun Visors. Transmission and oil change.7/15/2012 Replaced generator after gen bearing worn out. New air filter, dog house hoses, and oil pressure switch.6/28/2010, All 4 front tie rods were replaced, timing set, points replaced, valves adjusted, new fuel filter, carb. cleaned and tuned, and spark plug wires replaced.8/7/2006 New generator, voltage regulator, battery2/6/2006 Clutch (Transmission cleaned, fluid change), All new brakes, drums, pads, and springs.New swaybar bushings, KYB rear shocks, and new exhaustI have more records dating back to 1993. Engine was rebuilt in 1990 and has very low mileage. speedometer cable became disconnected so actual mileage is unknown on current engine but this car has barely seen the road since. it has been garage kept and is in great shape, no dents, no rust. starts right up and runs like a bug! The original color was red orange, i had it painted this color in 1990.
